Superb visuals and audio. 35 character - all of them are balanced. Supports multiple controller options. 4-player multiplayer with a multitude of options. Smooth friend-to-friend online play
Single player campaign mode (Subspace Emissary) is average at best and forces the player to grind all previous levels near the end

From the moment the epic title music kicks in and the awesomely polished visuals of the opening cut-scene appear you know Super Smash Bros. Brawl is going to be a classic. We've waited a very long time for this game and in that time it has been hyped...
We not going to score it a perfect ten as we managed to spend a good few paragraphs nit picking out things we don't like, that's not to say this game isn't totally brilliant. Its a bit like a total snob going to a really good restaurant and complaining...
The Wii has been somewhat starved of 'proper' games for fans to get their teeth into, so the arrival of this one has been eagerly anticipated. So with the Nintendo gaming hardcore salivating over the prospect of a true gamer's game to develop blisters...

We all knew it was coming. Our cousins across the globe had already told us what it was like. Now the Europeans get the Brawl experience. And it was well worth the wait.
Brawl manages to appeal to and be approachable for all varieties of gamer, a rare trait which is ideal for this big Wii title. Four different control options as well as an as-deep-as-you-want-it combat style mean that whether you?re a parent looking...

How do you improve upon perfection? Though a tricky question to answer, it's one that many developers would love to face on approaching a sequel. For fans of the original Super Smash Bros. that's exactly what Masahiro Sakurai produced with Melee, a...
It’s been six long years since then, making the build up to this highly anticipated third instalment something of a slow burner. So, now that the game's release is finally here, can it live up to expectations?
