Super Mario Galaxy

When Nintendo get off their backsides every six months and finally deliver us a game, by general rule of thumb, it's going to be one of the year's greatest games. Last year we experienced Metroid Prime 3 and rounded off the year with Super Mario...

Super Mario Galaxy is the current pinnacle of platforming game design excellence. You only have to look at other recent titles in the genre, like Crash of the Titans, to see how high you have to go before you reach the galaxy. Anything below a 10 just...

Super Mario Galaxy

Whilst it is unlikely that this is the first Mario Galaxy review you have read, and less likely still that you are unaware of the sort of scores it is amassing, you may be less familiar with some of the more intimate details of Nintendo's latest outing...

This ingenious play mechanic is delivered in the game proper through a thousand bite sized lozenges that are the different galaxies and land masses there in. Each of them takes the basic tenants of the game, (platforming, exploration, gravity and...

Super Mario Galaxy (Wii)

In space no one can hear you unblock toilets.

So we conclude, is this the best game ever made? No. Does it deserve 10/10? Not by a long shot and for several key reasons, that need improvement before I will give it a “perfect” score. The gameplay is sublime and the presentation of graphics and...

Super Mario Galaxy

In the hands of anyone who's been longing for a true sequel to Mario 64, Super Mario Galaxy could well be the game of the year, but it's nowhere near as revolutionary as Mario 64.

Super Mario Galaxy (2007)

Shhh! Don’t say it out loud in case the fanboys hear you, but Mario’s last adventure - Super Mario Sunshine on GameCube - wasn’t that good, and diluted the delirious platform hopping of earlier excursions to the Mushroom Kingdom by giving players...

Super Mario Galaxy

Super Mario Galaxy otherwise known as SMG is the game that all Mario aficionados said would be the true successor to Mario 64. Yes Mario Sunshine was a good game but far too outside the realm of what a Mario game is supposed to be. Years went by with...

Super Mario Galaxy

The stellar presentation and fantastic level designs combine to make Super Mario Galaxy the Wii's game to beat and one of Mario's greatest adventures yet.

Some of the best level designs of any 3D platformer ; Beautiful, colourful graphics ; Controls work just about flawlessly in nearly every situation ; Soundtrack is a delight ; Lots of stages and tons of stars to find and collect

A couple of Mario's special suits can be frustrating to use ; Minimal amount of story doesn't tie everything together especially well

Super Mario Galaxy for the Wii will be available on the 29th of November, 2007

Game Review: Super Mario Galaxy

Why does the galaxy hate Mario? Why is it that no one ever hands him a star directly but only after he completes their demeaning tasks then they throw it a few feet away from him, making him crawl, skulk to the shiny star and pick it up like a slave...

Super Mario Galaxy for Wii

Galaxy features inventiveness, style, and replayability and all that makes it the best Mario adventure till date

Galaxy is an incredibly wonderful and long-lasting adventure. It is a journey that has all the greatness of Mario coded and is bound to be remembered till the end of time, just like the man himself.
