Mario Strikers: Charged Football

If you accept that the emphasis in Charged Football is on flashy moves and fun over skill and precision, you'll find a game that has a place in your collection.

Fun visuals ; Simple controls

Results often seem random ; Wii functionality is minimal

If you approach the game with the mentality that Charged Football is going to be football in the Mario universe you'll find a game that is hard to get on with. If you accept that the emphasis is on flashy moves and fun over skill and precision, you'll...

Mario Strikers: Charged Football

We've started feeling a little sorry for our office Wii, you know. As the past month or so has ebbed slowly into the record books our happy Xbox 360 has been enjoying the constant electrical surge of use, whilst even the lumbering PS3 has been getting...

Mario Strikers Charged Football Review - Wii

mario strikers charged football review: Mario's soccer sequel is a markedly more enjoyable game than its predecessor, especially for those who prefer the multiplayer arena.

Entertaining multiplayer, both offline and online, More sidekick characters to choose from, each with unique megastrike shots, Goaltending minigame during megastrike shots is pretty cool, Lots of different attacks and weapons to use.

Gameplay can get overly chaotic, Artificial intelligence tends to be either too easy, or overly cheap, Tackle function can be a bit overpowered, Somewhat bland presentation.

Mario's soccer sequel is a markedly more enjoyable game than its predecessor, especially for those who prefer the multiplayer arena.

Mario Strikers Charged Football

dull soundtrack?? yeah right... I love the soundtrack... Im actually looking for it... has anyone seen it?

addictive ; great multiplayer ; great soundtrack ; incredibly fun (I had to buy it after playing at a friends house... and i couldnt believe how fun it was)

might get repetitive(after some looooong months of playing) ; single player cups get frustrating since the trophies (especially the last cup) are very difficult to achieve
