LEGO Indiana Jones 2: The Adventure Continues

While it's not quite up there with the best in the Lego series, The Adventure Continues is still a fun romp, especially if you plan to play with some younger family members.

Lego Indiana Jones 2: The Adventure Continues

Just when it looked as though we were about to go a year without a Lego-based action game, along came another whip-cracking adventure with Indiana Jones. 2008's Lego Indy hit stores around the time the fourth film Kingdom of the Crystal Skull was...

Crystal Skull finally represented in Lego ; New game-play style via Hubs and Bonus/Treasure levels ; Charming, cute graphics ; Creation mode is a neat addition ; You get to beat up plastic Shia Leboeuf

Some levels are a bit short ; The creation mode isn't overly elaborate ; No online modes, can't share your creations ; Takes a few liberties with the film stories ; Having to cross a hub to find a character can annoy

If you've slogged through three Lego Star Wars games, Lego Indy 1 and Lego Batman, then there's no real reason not to like this one. Admittedly, there might be moments when you feel like you've seen it all before, but there are also clear changes too,...

Fantastic sequel, but for older LEGO fans due to violence.

Parents need to know that while this fun and imaginative adventure game contains a ton of fighting and tidbits of lowbrow humor, it's all presented in a playful, unrealistic manner. Elements that might seem problematic in a different game are here...

Whip It Good

Whatever its flaws, this game does a decent enough job of walking the line between sticking to the formula and mixing things up. The developers will need to refine some of the changes in future installments; in particular, the "where do I go now?"...

LEGO Indiana Jones 2: The Adventure Continues

LucasArts and Traveller's Tales build on their past success.

Simple, enjoyable gameplay; the reworked hub worlds and more numerous, shorter levels are a welcome change

Poor vehicle control; the level creator is tricky to use; no online level sharing

LEGO Indiana Jones 2: The Adventure Continues

Definitely has a ring of Crystal Skull in it

Love the LEGO charm ; Dizzying array of stuff will keep you tinkering ; Studs, power blocks and treasure chests

Jagged edge visuals are far from smooth plastic ; Dinky levels ; Cruddy driving controls

There are interesting parallels between LEGO Indy 2 and Crystal Skull. Both boast powerhouse turns from their respective stars – Ford and studs – but everything is undeniably creakier. Just as Spielberg diluted Indiana Jones with CGI prairie dogs and...

LEGO Indiana Jones 2: The Adventure Continues

Players return to a virtual playroom re-creation of the iconic movie series in LEGO Indiana Jones 2: The Adventure Continues. As in LEGO Indy's Original Adventures, gamers play through famous scenes from the films, with 3D characters and settings created
