Klonoa Wii Review

What we have here is a remake of a game that first appeared on the original PlayStation, given upgraded graphics and a range of control options, and released on the Wii. But will the old-school gameplay put off new players, or introduce them to a whole...

While the cartoon looks suggest a game aimed at younger players, they may find the difficulty off-putting. Still, it is nice to re-visit this style of platformer, however brief the experience may be.

An old friend returns. If you spend any time in any circle of hardcore gamers you have no doubt heard mention of certain titles that were grossly overlooked. Names like...

Great level design ; Colorful visuals ; Excellent learning curve ; Classic old-school feel

Klonoa - Wii review at Thunderbolt Games

Finding a decent third party Wii game can be tough. For every Red Steel 2 or Okami there are literally dozens and dozens shovelware titles like Petz: Crazy Monkeyz and Ninjabread Man – games that are so atrocious one can't help but yearn for the...

One quick short dream, but ever so sweet.

It's not a long adventure and you could easily trek through it an evening, but this is a clear example of the kind of game which should never be measured in length, but in sheer experience. It's a remake well-suited for both old and new fans, and for a...

Klonoa Review (Wii)

Klonoa and Hewpoe embark on a magical adventure on the Wii, taking on numerous challenges and objectives in hopes of uncovering a mysterious world and stopping The King of Darkness.

Klonoa is a title that delivers itself as an all around decent experience for the Wii. The fact that it was designed in another era helps solidify this as a game that can bridge the gap existing in so many modern adventure / platformers where titles...

Dull and disappointing

This is a short game, with short levels. That would be fine if you weren't constantly getting interrupted with terrible story clips that you're not allowed to skip. You never get any new abilities, and no new mechanics are introduced throughout the...
