Guitar Hero: Metallica (Wii) review

It's loud, it's challenging, and there is a mild chance you will catch an STD playing it. Guitar Hero: Metallica has arrived!

While Metallica fans will and should be moshing their way to the nearest game store immediately, there is not much here for anyone else. Whether simply not a fan of the band or one of the few remaining people who doesn't like music rhythm games,...

Guitar Hero: Metallica

Four years is a relatively long time in the world of gaming. In that amount of time we have seen both consoles and series come and go, never to be remembered. So to have a gaming series survive in this time is an accomplishment in itself, let alone to...

It's got Metallica in it ; So many options ; Appeals to all experience levels ; Good range of tunes ; Wii Remote noises and vibration ; Great career mode story ; You can use other instruments

Difficult in places ; No full band packages available (just solus and guitar bundles)

Guitar Hero: Metallica is further proof (as if we needed it) that the series is going from strength to strength. They have managed to produce a game that appeals to literally everyone, particularly Metallica fans. We can only hope that the guys at...

Guitar Hero: Metallica

For Metallica fans, this game is incredible. For everyone else, it's a decent spinoff in the Guitar Hero series that improves a few things.

New interface changes are great ; The bonus materials are interesting ; Awesome for Metallica fans

Song selection revolves around one genre, with a few a exceptions ; Nothing special for people who don't listen to Metallica ; Songs not transferable to World Tour ; No downloadable content

I agree with Pro, though I already have all of the Death Magentic DLC, so for me it would be useless. I don't mind seeing some other bands on there - but playing Master of Puppets and then playing The Boys Are Back in Town...is a crime against...

Guitar Hero: Metallica review

Guitar Hero is a cultural phenomenon. Not only does it get referenced in pop culture, it is one of the highest selling franchises (both in dollars and units). The video game industry has been looking for a yearly franchise that wasn't Madden or Need...

While not a whole lot has changed, Guitar Hero: Metallica does everything that you have come to expect from a Guitar Hero game. From the single player story to quick play and online, as well as a music creator and custom characters. If you are a fan of...

Guitar Hero: Metallica

Just as Guitar Hero: Aerosmith was something of a glorified expansion of Guitar Hero III, Guitar Hero: Metallica serves as an extension of Activision's band-focused hit Guitar Hero: World Tour, offering gamers a feel for life in and around one of heavy me

The best GH to date .....

If you like your GH then get this as it is the best so far (also see my GH Van Halen review). I bought this not really knowing much of the music from Metallica and have 2 boys who had not even heard of them. But now it's the most played GH and we have...

Love it :-)

It's hard work compare to the other G/Hero titles though - some of the songs are long and it's a killer to keep concentrating (for me anyway - must stop playing at 2am !!). You have to be a fan - but playing along to the Metallica stuff is just fantastic.
