Ghost Squad

It is every young boy's dream to take on the guise of a crack team leader and blast your way through hoards of enemies, one eye squinted shut whilst the other is razor sharp and unflinching. Gunfight after gunfight with exploding scenery and pieces of...

Ghost Squad

The traditional video game arcade has become rather difficult to come by in the UK, often the only option being the local bowling alley where the odd arcade cabinet can be found between air hockey tables, fruit machines and tuppenny pushers. Naturally,...

Ghost Squad (Wii) review

If there was one genre that initially sprang to mind right after Nintendo revealed the Wii, it was the on-rails arcade shooter. In fact, due to me staying up till 5AM that night to follow the exciting announcement, on-rails shooting was just about all...

However, in the end - regardless of its quality - it is hard to recommend Ghost Squad due to the fact you can finish the main campaign in about 30 minutes. However, SEGA have thrown everything but the kitchen sink at the game to increase the lifespan....

Ghost Squad

Ghost Squad is the latest of SEGA's titles to get a Wii-based revamp, and it's about time the arcade shooter made its appearance on the system, too. Rayman Raving Rabbids' shooting sections satiated us for a short while, but it doesn't compare to the...

Despite being a port, Ghost Squad feels uncompromised and well-suited to Wii. The accuracy of the remote's pointer is great, the Zapper actually feels something more than pointless when used with the game, and while appearing initially short there's a...

Ghost Squad (Wii) review

Sega's lightgun shooter is an enjoyably disposable arcade experience

Great, throwaway fun. Ghost Squad won't last forever, but you'll return for a quick blast on multiplayer.

Ghost Squad Review for Wii

Ghost Squad for Wii Review - Ghost Squad is well worth picking up if you fancy a proper lightgun game for your Wii, especially if you've already bought the Wii Zapper.

Gawd bless the zapper, it has light gunned the load of arcade lovers everywhere

As long as you're prepared to get nothing more than a very good, very short arcade shooter, you'll find a lot of value in this package. It's quick, it's explosive and it's great fun.

Ghost Squad

In addition to the two-player Arcade Mode, Ghost Squad for the Wii also features a four-player Party Mode and a Training Mode. Slamming as many people as you can around a television for some light gun action is great fun, but the Training Mode is...
