Dead Space: Extraction

Many moons ago, sometime between the Sack of Carthage and the Prohibition, there was this little white console we used to play with. Since all we had up to that point was cup-and-ball, knife crime, and smallpox it was pretty revolutionary. Anyone else...

Extraction is so far the best reason to own a Move gun and navigation stick combo. There are more controls to the game than you might think, but without straying too far into the interface morass that hampers the Time Crisis: Rising Storm story mode....

Dead Space Extraction Wii Review

In my view, EA's Dead Space was up there with the best horror games. It was a true high production title, doing fantastic things with visuals and sound, and creating an atmosphere that was as wonderful as it was oppressive. Dead Space Extraction is a...

Dead Space Extraction is up there with the finest of Wii titles, and is a truly memorable experience that feels very much like a Dead Space game. Like the original, amazing things have been done with both the visuals and the sound, making it feel like...

Dead Space: Extraction

The Dead Space franchise is evolving, mutating and expanding faster than a spaceship full of necromorphs. As well as last year's debut, which reduced us to jibbering wrecks, we've also being treated to an animated film (Dead Space: Downfall) as well as...

Dead Space: Extraction is a welcome shot in the arm for the Wii, which has arguably been lacking these sorts of experiences since its very inception. A must for all Dead Space fans, then, but what it lacks in scares and scale it makes up for in...

Dead Space Extraction

Dead Space Extraction for Wii Review - Extraction stands shoulder to shoulder with SEGA's Overkill as a great example of the modern on-rails shooter, showing just what the Wii's capable of when developers put their minds to it.

Atmospheric and scary

Underneath it all, it's an on-rails shooter

Dead Space: Extraction

Games on the Wii aren't too often like this. Cinematic, gory, mature...good. Not only does Dead Space: Extraction look to break the mould of so many identikit Wii games, it does so with such great style and verve that at times it will blow you away. A...

Whilst the plot can at times be ludicrously tedious, I just can't be harsh on a game that is this well polished and this well put together. Everything is true AAA quality...whatever that means these days. A real little gem of a game that takes a unique...

Dead Space Extraction

This story-focused on-rails shooter is a worthy follow-up to Dead Space that delivers the same sorts of thrills, chills, and kills, but in a whole new way.

Great story that enhances the Dead Space universe ; Fantastic visuals ; Unlockable, fully voiced motion comics

Aiming reticle obscures too much ; Camera sometimes makes aiming difficult

Dead Space Extraction

Extraction gets a lot of mileage out of the Dead Space setting, with a decent light-gun campaign that's worth playing through... once.

Dead Space: Extraction (Wii) review

Dead Space finds a new perspective on horror

Buy it, and send the message that there is indeed a market for mature games of such quality.

Dead Space Extraction

Review: Extracting a strange blend of game styles

A game that doesn't know what it wants to be and ends up much less exciting than it should have been. Atmospheric but empty.
