Animal Crossing: Let's go to the City

Having recently unveiled its upcoming Wii software release list for the first quarter of 2009, Japanese gaming giant Nintendo has flattered to deceive in terms of honouring prior pledges to deliver more hardcore and franchise titles. Moreover, with...

If visiting and exploring a true cityscape had been the driving force behind City Folk then perhaps Nintendo would have dodged this particular review bullet. But, as it is, a bus ride and five minutes of extra content means the following score is...

Animal Crossing: Let's Go to the City

Although more of the same, newcomers will find this a lot of fun, while veterans are likely to find it hard to resist once again crossing with animals in their town.

Animal Crossing: Let's Go to the City

Hey, don't I know you from somewhere else?

Animal Crossing is still great but this is a very stingy next-gen update.

Animal Crossing: Let's go to the City Review - Wii

animal crossing: let's go to the city review: Let's go to the City offers more of the same Animal Crossing gameplay that you know and love, with the emphasis on "same".

Some genuinely amusing dialogue and characters, Stocking the town museum is satisfying, Great fun to play in short bursts

A few characters repeat the same dialogue ad infinitum, Dearth of new content, Date and time dictate your progression

Let's go to the City offers more of the same Animal Crossing gameplay that you know and love, with the emphasis on "same".

Animal Crossing: Lets go to the City

An excellent choice for newcomers to the series; for long-time fans it's a bit like watching a remake of your favourite classic movie: predictable, with no major surprises in store... but certainly no less enjoyable than the original.

Inclusion of the Wii Speak microphone is a great concept that will enhance the game's social appeal; despite remaining largely unchanged since its inception, the game remains as addictive as ever

No noteworthy improvements or innovation shown in graphics or content; could have done without the on-screen pointer

New platform, same old scenario.

Animal Crossing: Lets go to hell

If you want to be bored out of your skull then rent this game, otherwise avoid it like the plague on a stormy day. Awful game, can't do anything unless you have a 'friends roster'

I am so glad i only rented this game as I can happily send it back the game is very slow moving as it is a realtime game so if you only get to play at night the shop is always closed so you can't progress in the game avoid if you don't like been bored...

Best for the young ones

Don't hire if you are over 12. But if you are under this age - its a good introduction to adventure games.
