A bit of a let down

By A Customer (sofacinema.co.uk) Read the full review

Glad I rented this instead of buying it ! As others have pointed out, most of the games here are card games - this wouldn't be too bad in itself, but the graphics are poor and the method of playing - particularly on blackjack is awkward and long...

42 All-Time Classics for DS Review - Card and board game fans will find a lot to enjoy though, and the online integration and solid support for the lone player make a game that is well worth its budget price.

42 All-Time Classics (DS) review

By NowGamer ArchiveBot (nowgamer.com)

Award: Family Choice

They may be classic, but does that mean they're any fun?

Surely you’d be better off playing the real things than this?

Clubhouse Games (DS)

By (cnet.com)

Board games, card decks, and sets of dice take up a ton of physical space and are a real pain in the behind to drag down out of the closet, but they sure are loads of fun to play when your buddies are over. Drink some beverages, break out the pretzels,...

Clubhouse Games for the Nintendo DS eliminates all of that storage space and prep-work hassle. It packs 42 different parlor games into a single DS cartridge and lets you play them alone or against your friends, whether they're in the same room with you...

Let's just cut to the chase, shall we? Clubhouse Games is a must-buy for Nintendo DS owners who enjoy playing card games and board games by themselves or with friends....

Large number of titles with great variety ; Easy to pick up and play ; Forces players to learn new games ; Well-written, in-game instructions ; Good controls for 41 of the games ; Good bang for the buck ; Great overall presentation

Billiards could have used more TLC ; What, no Euchre

Luminous Arc 2

Witch Chess

Voice acting is nice ; Using a reasonable amount of strategy is rewarded

Still "cut-out" characters ; Trite story

Hmm i actually really like this series. It's got a better story, presentation, and use of sound than Final Fantasy Tactics A2. That review really nails it though, the game isn't really inventive or difficult whatsoever but does everything else...

Clubhouse Games

By CHRIS HUDAK (evergeek.com)

Casual gamers (and hard-core dorks just looking for a respite), unite! As hopelessly nostalgic and retro (and cheap) as a virtual collection of board, card and ball games might sound on the surface, Clubhouse Games is a great little package for DS...

Clubhouse Games

By Aaron Kaluszka (nintendoworldreport.com)

The Answer to Life, the Universe, and Everything.

42 classic games ; Online and single-card local multiplayer with chat ; Very accessible

PictoChat is only available for use among friends ; Not all games are available from the start

I noticed that about 1/3 of the games in the Japanese version are different, so I'm thinking I might pick that up too, but I'm waiting to see if they do an online version like they did with Yakuman DS.

Clubhouse Games Nintendo DS Review

By Robert Falcon (modojo.com)

As you proceed through the game, you'll be earning stamps of approval and working your way up the ladder in progress. Single-player isn't the most competitive mode out there, but it does give you plenty of practice on each of the games. Most of them...

42 games to delve through, both off and online for multiplayer enjoyment

Presentation is underwhelming

So there I sat on the Play-Asia.com page, wondering if I wanted to order The Billiards import for my Nintendo DS system. And then I thought to myself, "Is it really worth it to pay $30+ for a simple little pool game? What if someone saves the game and...

However, some activities are simpler than others. Darts took quite a bit of getting used to, having to set up the trajectory and actually hit the damn dartboard. Fortunately, the controls are easy enough that you can adjust and find your rhythm rather...
