Describing an MP3 player as "wearable" isn't something of an increasing trend. Sure, the iPod shuffle leads the charge of clip-sporting players and there are plenty you can hang around your neck or strap to your arm, but the W202 from Sony does away...
Light, comfortable, easy to use, ZAPPIN a nice addition
Looks a little weird, controls could have been bigger
The W202 looks like it is destined for failure, but in reality, it has been considerately designed and implemented, and the end result gives you a highly convenient MP3 player, perfect for when you don't want to be encumbered by wires, straps or clips
A good fit from the ear bud also means that it cuts out background noise too. Sony, not being content to just give you a neat Walkman player have another trick in store. To store the W202, and switch it off, you marry the two halves of the player...

The perfect portable music player?
A well-designed MP3 system for active pursuits, offering decent sound quality and intelligent controls. For gym use, jogging or dirty work, it's hard to find anything better.

Good things sometimes come in daft packages. The Sony Walkman NWZ-W202's comfortable fit, ear-pleasing audio and rock-solid build quality more than compensate for its laughable Zappin song-navigation system and Bluetooth headset-esque styling. It's a...
Comfortable design ; Excellent sound quality ; Quick-charge battery ; Magnetic headphones act as power switch
Silly Zappin song-navigation system ; No EQ options or noise-cancelling functions
Conclusion Whereas Apple's miniscule new iPod shuffle tries very hard to blend in, Sony's Walkman NWZ-W202 tries equally hard to grab your attention. If you don't mind its eye-catching, gym-geek appearance, its practical design, simple interface and...

This nifty Walkman packs 2GB storage into some rather large headphones. So, has Sony come up trumps or made itself look a chump?

The Sony Walkman NWZ-W202 is a wireless two-part sports MP3 player with 2GB of storage. Repeat, shuffle and Zappin (music browsing) play modes are included. It has a 12-hour battery life with quick charge function. It weighs 35g.
Scientific research has shown that the average person wastes four days of their life untangling personal stereo cords. Add in the days you waste reading safety stickers on Frisbees (“Warning! Do not throw at head!”) and you’re soon talking some serious...
Practice saying, “No, I’m not wearing two Bluetooth headsets. This is actually a cutting-edge personal audio device,” as you’ll be saying it a lot. Equally ridiculous is a Zappin mode that basically plays random song snippets to the sound of a ‘wacky’...
Solid build quality, smart charging and outstanding audio makes it easy to forgive this high-tech player its bonkers styling.
