Speedo Aquabeat 1GB

By paula (reevoo.com) Read the full review

Have been researching for ages for something like this - the design is awesome, especially the way the bits go behind your ears, and clip onto the back of your goggles - you dont really know you have got it on. The sound is awesome - and it is very...

Today is only the second day that I have used it - hopefully will get better at putting it in my ears correctly after a few more uses - had trouble getting a good seal, so once water gets in between the ear bud and the canal - the sound becomes quite...

Swimming can be a boring exercise but with the mp3 player, wow what a difference

I dont think there is a shuffle setting so the same songs in the same order is a downer

Speedo Aquabeat

By Darien Graham-Smith (expertreviews.co.uk)

It's a long time since jog-proof CD players were the gym accessory of choice. Today's Flash-based MP3 players are the ideal exercise companion, whether you're running, weight training or cycling. And with the Aquabeat, Speedo are planning to bring...

Floats like a butterfly, swims like an MP3. For music while you work out, this neat little player is a great way to take your tunes underwater.

Speedo - AquaBeat

By (itreviews.co.uk)

Do you get bored in the swimming baths? Of course you do, which is why Speedo - of skimpy trunks fame - has come up with this waterproof MP3 player that easily meets its, err, brief. ...

Not an advanced MP3 player by any means, the AquaBeat's simple operation and waterproof design is welcome in the water though 1GB is exceptionally small for the money. Slightly cumbersome to strap-on to goggles it might be, but the AquaBeat does its...

BEST POINT: Perfect for swimming and other water-based activities. WORST POINT: Rudimentary controls and features; sound quality isn't great.

By Alun Taylor (reghardware.co.uk)

The perfect music player for any aspiring Duncan Goodhew or Steve Zissou, just make sure the use you plan to get out of it justifies the outlay.

Listed at around £75 for the 1GB version and £100 for the 2GB LZR swimsuit-styled incarnation, the Aquabeat is not cheap. Do some astute on-line shopping for better prices and the outlay is probably worth it to put the finishing touches on a decent...

And let's face it, that is the target audience, not someone who is worried about dropping their iPod in the bath of a Sunday evening.

Speedo Aquabeat

This waterproof MP3 player can be used to a depth of 10 feet, and floats to ensure it won't sink if dropped. It supports both MP3 and WMA and comes with 1GB of storage.

Speedo Aquabeat Waterproof MP3

Some users reported limitations specifically about playlist sorting and song management. Since the forward and back buttons also double as the on/off buttons making it easy to accidently turn your player off when you just want to skip to the next song
