iPod nano 6th Gen (2010)

The latest iPod nano lives up to its name better than ever.

Wonderfully intuitive ; Decent sound quality ; Beautiful design

Will be too small for some ; Lots of scrolling when navigating ; No additional apps available

To purchase an iPod nano, you have to be happy to do so fully aware than you are paying well over the odds for what is admittedly a beautiful piece of industrial design, but also a work of form over function. But when the form is so exquisite, should...

Sixth-generation Apple iPod nano review

The Apple iPod nano, now in its sixth generation, has received a hefty facelift. Gone is the long, slim design of the fifth-generation nano along with the traditional click wheel control system. The new nano has been made 46 per cent smaller and 42 per...

With the sixth-generation Apple iPod nano, Apple has proved to us that less is not best. Key features that we loved on previous models like the camera, video recording and integrated speaker have disappeared. The new nano remains a solid device for...

Apple iPod nano 6th gen review

The Apple iPod nano 6th gen is a great product for rich people who use the gym. For everyone else, the iPod shuffle and iPod touch offer better value for money.

Small and light ; Built-in clip ; FM radio with pause function ; Long battery life

Confusing menus ; High price

Ultimately the sixth-generation nano, or iPod run, is a great product for a very specific niche -- those who want more control over their MP3 player in the gym, or those who just want something new to flash about when exercising. For everyone else,...

Apple iPod nano 2010 review

As we were sat watching Steve Jobs announce the new iPod line-up at Apple's annual shindig, we were shocked by the huge changes to the Nano. The previous five generations were basically all iterations of the same idea, but Apple has changed tack...

For some, the new nano will be a disappointment, while for others (particularly runners) it will be a revelation.

Stuff magazine

The Nano has dropped to a size more fitting for its name. But has Apple made too many compromises to get there?

Too feature-light to be a must-have, too expensive to be an impulse purchase

Apple iPod Nano 8GB

Ultra-portable, sounds superb but still a tad pricey

Feels good ; that slick Apple interface ; neat features ; the sound is superb

Despite that price drop, it’s still relatively expensive

Apple iPod Nano 6G 16GB

Apple shrunk the Nano and offered a tiny multi-touch screen on the compact body. But its price is not for everyone.

Metallic body and Clip-On design ; Very Good Sound Quality ; Sleek touchcreen interface ; Compact form factor

Very expensive for a compact player ; No video support ; No built-in speaker and mic ; Lack of physical controls for music playback

The new Apple iPod Nano 6G has an ultra compact form factor and yet manages to offer a 1.54-inch multi-touch screen. It is a cute compact player that offers very good sound quality. However, there is no more video playback/record support and it is not...

New Apple iPod Nano : India Preview

Apple has trimmed down the size and features but added multi-touch screen on the latest iPod Nano. Do we miss the click-wheel?

Compact design ; Smooth interface ; FM radio with Live Pause

Unsuitable for Active use ; Camera on the Nano 5G is missing ; Limited file format support ; No drag and drop

The new iPod Nano ( sixth generation) has gone through a major overhaul in terms of design. It has a small multitouch screen and VoiceOver. Apple keeps the FM radio with live pause option but let go the video camera found on the previous Nano ( fifth...

Apple iPod nano 8 GB

Apple's latest generation iPod nano has undergone an intensive workout to become a lot more compact than the previous version.

A lot more compact, price cut, easy to use UI

Battery life not the best, no more video functionality

The move by Apple to drop its video recording and playback functionality on the new iPod nano range hasn't really detracted from the experience of using the device. It has resulted in a music player that does what is needed, using an intuitive user...

iPod nano 6th Generation Review

Except for its design the new nano is quite disappointing

Small, attractive design, built-in clip, FM radio with Live Pause, pedometer, smooth and fast interface, good battery life

Absurdly expensive for the features and performance, unimpressive display quality, display feels too small at times, certain gestures are not intuitive, poor quality supplied earphones
