Small But Super Wacom Cintiq!

By animator811 (play.com) Read the full review

I could do a very quick and simple review and just say WOW!!! and leave it at that but it would be such an injustice to this amazing piece of kit that will enhance, improve and make creating artwork much more intuitive and fun.

The Cintiq is a wonderful piece of technology for professionals and artists but it's very expensive and shouldn't be bought on impulse.

Wacom Cintiq 12WX interactive pen display review

By Doug Harman (pocket-lint.com)

Wacom Cintiq 12WX review

By David Karlins (pcadvisor.co.uk)

At this screen size, unless you really value the built-in LCD, you might be better off with a cheaper drawing tablet.

Is the Wacom Cintiq 12WX worth twice the price of a comparable-size Intuos tablet? Only if you value the built-in LCD.

Every now and then, a product comes into the MacFormat offices that is so all-round wonderful that we will try anything to avoid handing it back, and Wacom's latest graphics-tablet-with-built-in-screen affair certainly falls into this category.

Wacom Cintiq 12WX review

By Mike Cooper (electricpig.co.uk)

Whether you wear an artist's beret or the floppy hat of a digital doodler, the Wacom Cintiq 12WX is the daddy of dinky graphics tablets designed to inject extra pizazz into your pictures. A full-blown screen-toting scribbler, with an Autumn-crisp...

Wacom Cintiq 12WX Review

By Iain (tracyandmatt.co.uk)

I really do like the 12WX, but my frustration with the alignment led to me try using the display as a traditional tablet to draw on my primary monitor. I was much happier working this way as I wasn't visually expecting the pen and the display to be...

So personally, I think I'd get an Intuos 3 - but I can certainly understand the appeal of the Cintiq 12WX, and if you are getting a tablet then I would certainly recommend trying the Cintiq 12WX to see what you think

Wacom Cintiq 12WX Review

By Doug Harman (best4reviews.com)

Wacom's Cintiq 12WX combines the best of graphics tablet technology with an excellent interactive display in a portable format that makes it both very versatile and easy to use.

Design and build, ease of use, portability, indispensable portable tool for graphics professionals

Price may be beyond the more “casual” user

Taken on price alone, the Wacom Cintiq 12WX looks expensive. But once out of its box the quality of the display, the build quality and the sheer versatility of the device quickly becomes apparent and makes the Cintiq 12WX an indispensable tool for any...

Wacom Cintiq 12WX

By Dave Stevenson (pcpro.co.uk)

Award: Recommended!

We were impressed when we saw the forerunner to the Cintiq 12WX - the Cintiq 21UX (web ID: 72901). A responsive, easy-to-use tablet with an integrated 21.3in TFT, it was ideal for professional artists and designers. It wasn't so good for those on a...

A splendid bit of design that will please the most commited enthusiast, and a godsend for artists on a budget.

However, Wacom has heard the cries of consumers, and while the 12WX still doesn't qualify as an impulse purchase, at -700 it's just within the grasp of most committed enthusiasts.

Wacom Cintiq 12WX

By Nick Spence (macworld.co.uk)

Award: Editor's Choice!

With a built-in TFT display, the Wacom Cintiq 12WX has much to offer artists looking to treat Photoshop like a canvas. It's also much more reasonably priced than other tablet displays. We discover why the Wacom Cintiq 12WX could change the way you work.

Stylish, quality build, excellent subtle response, good screen definition with wide viewing angle, 16:10 format display, ergonomic weighted grip pen, relatively compact size, customisable controls, spare pen nibs

Reduced price still too high for some, relatively small screen size, no Bluetooth option for fuller portability, no dedicated carry case, some calibration issues, bundled software doesn't reflect premium price

If you already own the mighty Cintiq 21 UX you're unlikely to want to replace it with the smaller version despite its obvious charms. That said, this is a wonderful alternative for anyone restricted by budget and space. Likely to outlive the average...
