LG Electronics Flatron L1920P review: LG Electronics Flatron L1920P

LG Electronics Flatron L1920P

Decent image quality; handy image presets; analog and digital inputs; two USB ports.

Limited adjustability; substandard video performance; more expensive than other 19-inch LCDs.

LG's Flatron L1920P offers adequate image quality and a handful of extras, but there are better, less expensive 19-inch LCDs on the market.

Nice

This is my first LCD monitor, but I spent a lot of time researching on the internet and in retail stores. The LG was highly rated for picture quality and durability and so far it has surpassed my expectations. Oh, and one more thing, Newegg rocks!

Very simple setup, and unbeleivable picture quality even with an analog connection. The USB hub is nice when working with my DVD camcorder and digital camera (no problems yet). Can't say enough good things about Newegg's prompt service, either

Had to spend an hour or two tweaking the settings on the display - definitely too bright out of the box

Simply gorgeous

I'm not a gamer, so I cannot comment on gaming considerations, like "ghosting" etc.

I have used two different I** LCD monitors, an 18" and a 20" over the last three years everyday at work. This monitor simply blows away either one of those I** LCD monitors. The colors and controls allow this ; LG monitor to be superior in every way....

No height or swivel adjustment. There is backlight bleeding, especially at the top, as other reviews have reported, but only noticeable on a purely black background. Does not cause me any heartburn

Sweet...

Very good monitor, aside from the next to useless USB hub. It will look great on your desktop. Oh, and it is also very easy to switch input sources on the fly, too.

VERY nice looking monitor. Base is solid metal-chrome plated. Not too heavy though. Screen seems very large for a 19". Upgraded from a very old 17" CRT. Huge difference, as colors are very sharp, and screen is very clear. Text is very nice, and video...

USB hub is virtually useless. For some reason isn't powered. So you can't hook up a keyboard and mouse to it or something like an MP3 player to charge/sync

Great LCD

I would definately recommend this display to anyone looking for a great deal on a 19".

This monitor is absolutely stunning. NO DEAD PIXELS!!!!!Replaced my old HP F1503. The display is so bright that I had to make adjustments to darken it

Setup was alittle more difficult than I thought it would be but still only took about 10 minutes

LG L1920PQ Black-Silver 19" 8ms LCD Monitor 300 cd/m2 700:1

very nice product, but i rated it poor because of the bleeding from everywhere

i have it for 1 day and it goes back for RMA cause of bleeding from the top, bottom and left and right side

My second LG monitor purchase, no complaints!

Bought the L1920PQ to upgrade my L1720P (which went to upgrade my wife's gigantic 17" CRT). I have been happy owner of the 1720 for over two years and I really like the style. For me, this was a no-brainer.

Easy upgrade/replacement for my existing L1720P. Has both DVI and VGA
