Furthermore, it has an sRGB mode to accurately reproduce this narrower but commonly used color space. This ensures that colors meant for sRGB such as those used on web pages and any photos taken with a digital camera's sRGB mode will be reproduced on the screen as intended.Comes quipped with EIZO's latest integrated circuit which has a 12-bit look-up table with a color palette of 68 billion colors from which the most appropriate 16.7 million (8-bits) are displayed. It also features 16-bit internal processing for smooth display of grayscale tones, especially in dark areas of an image which typically are difficult for LCD monitors to display without banding.Uniformity errors usually seen as brighter or darker areas on the screen are characteristic of LCD panels. A Digital Uniformity Equalizer (DUE) function corrects brightness and chroma uniformity errors so they are virtually unnoticeable.EIZO's BrightRegulator function, which optimizes the screen brightness in accordance with the ambient light, has been improved for even better performance. Whereas BrightRegulator previously used one user-determined reference point for adjusting brightness, it now uses two; one for bright and one for dark ambient luminance. Since the screen is never too bright, energy is saved and eye fatigue reduced.This monitor simulates two types of red-green color vision deficiency - protanopia and deuteranopia. All the color conversion processing is done in real time - even moving images. With the bundled UniColor Pro software also developed by EIZO the designer can instantly switch from a normal viewing mode to the Protanopia and Deuteranopia viewing modes.
