Dell E2014T

Dell E2014T

The Dell E2014T is a relatively affordable 20-inch class monitor offering five-point touch-screen technology, good all-around performance, and a generous array of ports.

Responsive five-point touch-screen. Lots of I/O ports. Solid color and grayscale performance.

Narrow viewing angles. Tilt-only stand. Reflective screen.

The Dell E2014T offers a relatively affordable way to realize the full potential of the Windows 8 touch-screen experience. It's not the prettiest looking touch-screen monitor we've seen and it doesn't offer the wide viewing angles of an IPS monitor,...

Dell adds a touch of Windows 8-ready monitors

The three new touch-screen monitors feature HD resolutions, a bevy of connections, and competitive pricing.

avoid optical

It's possible they may be fine for the casual user looking for a budget option. Just be aware that it won't always "touch" when you want it to.

easy menu system, two HDMI inputs and it functions as a USB dock as well

Optical touch screen was practically useless for me. I tried to use this monitor in a work scenario where reliability and speed were somewhat critical, and they failed me. There's sometimes a long "wake up" period trying to get the monitor to recognize...

Dead Spots

...

I thought maybe my screen needed recalibrating. As it turns out, the screen has two big dead spots in it and I'm stuck with it because I've had it too long to return. What a freaking rip off!

Not a fan of Optical

Do yourself a favor and look for a more modern solution. Optical touch is old technology. My mistake getting this one. LOVE MY NEWEGG!!! I will have a new touchscreen this week with a few clicks here.

Has a good picture which is why I picked it. Perfect size for what I needed.

Really disappointed with just how bad the Optical touchscreen works. I use it to touch small buttons and it is just not precise at all (yes I have calibrated it over and over). Sometimes does not even detect touch at all. Other times the point is so...

for windos 8

work like a charm, the vesa walmount is standard size ; if you dont have a wall mount, let it sit on something 24 inch high righ beside you ; I use it as a second screen, with windows 8 for work ; it is the best thing I have to navigate through plan in...

it is IR ; so it mean the object touching the screen need to be a certain size to detect.. if you have a small tip touch pen, it will probably not work. so you might need the bulky one(I have not try it so I can't bet it'll work flawlessly
