This is a 2K Monitor. 2K resolution is a generic term for display devices or content having HORIZONTAL resolution of approximately 2,000 pixels. Acer and New Egg have not lied about the resolution of this monitor

It's big! For me the right D.P.I for 4K. No need for scaling. I don't need 144mhz for games and this monitor runs them just fine.
