Acer Predator XB271HU

The Acer Predator XB271HU is one of a new breed of gaming monitors that not only features the high refresh rate you expect of a gaming display but has the great image quality you'd associate with an IPS panel too.

Acer Predator XB271HU

The 27-inch Acer Predator XB271HU offers very good gaming performance, a fully adjustable stand, and lots of style.

Nvidia G-Sync anti-tearing technology. Very good gaming and gray-scale performance. Fast refresh rate. Stylish design.

Expensive. Middling color accuracy. Weak speakers. Only two video inputs.

Conclusion With the Acer Predator XB271HU, you get excellent gaming performance, thanks to a 144Hz refresh rate and Nvidia's G-Sync technology. It offers all of the cool gamer-friendly features that you get with other Predator models, including Aim...

Standard resolution but with 165Hz G-Synced smoothness...

Our judgement? If you’re a serious gamer, there’s absolutely no doubt. It’s worth it.

Great image, lovely colours.

The branding is pretty bad - all sharp edges, superbro 'true gamer' silliness. The logo and even the name want to sound COOL and X-TREME but may put some people off a fantastic monitor.

Menu a bit difficult to use

Acer Predator XB271HU

144Hz 1440p G-Sync is the perfect partner for the 1080Ti GPU. The stand is great even though I'm not going to use it. Comes with a good quality set of cables. Not had any screen taring at all.

Menus are a bit awkward, have to manually choose DP or HDMI to get best resolution. Fitting a wall mount required longer M4 bolts than normal because of the recess the stand slots into. 3.5 Headphone jack is hard to get to. Bought a short extension to...

Acer Predator XB271HU

Great image quality. IPS is trully a wonder to look at. 165hz in games is...no words to describe how smooth the feeling is. Though, you will need a powerful rig. Even with a gtx1080ti can't always reach at least 120fps in some games.

This is the 3rd monitor. First one had a lot of backlight bleeding. 2nd, a green stuck pixel right in the center of the monitor which drove me crazy. 3rd one is on it's way. As you may know, warranty won't cover a stuck pixel i had to just ask for a...
