A budget smartphone with a wide range of features

Premium metal design ; Stock Android ; Decent camera

Screen is fingerprint magnet ; Poor speaker placement

The Blade V6 is well designed, packs some solid features and the inclusion of stock Android helps to elevate above rival Chinese handsets from Huawei and co.

Sturdy aluminum blade. ZTE's new mainstream smartphone, Blade V6, attracts attention mainly due to its well-built and slim aluminum chassis. However, is this enough to compete with the similarly equipped rivals?

dual-SIM function with LTE, good voice quality, sturdy aluminum chassis with good build quality, fast GPS fix, microSD slot, good WiFi performance, smooth operation

display brightness and color accuracy, sound of the headset, sound of the rear speaker, low-light performance of the camera, only 2.4 GHz WiFi, battery integrated, no NFC

One highlight of the ZTE Blade V6 is certainly the very sophisticated aluminum chassis for a mainstream smartphone, which can also convince in terms of ergonomics: It feels good in the hand and leaves a sturdy impression despite its lightweight.
