ZTE Axon Pro (Unlocked)

The ZTE Axon Pro is a commanding multimedia phone at a more-affordable-than-usual price.

Fast processor. Great audio and video playback. Tons of LTE bands

Very heavy. Runs warm. A bit of bloatware

Premium has a new price: $449. ZTE's Axon Pro delivers flagship performance for $200 less than the standard flagship cost. It even outdoes the iPhone 6 Plus for audiophiles. Yes, there's a price you pay: The ZTE Axon is a bit heavy and runs a bit hot....

ZTE Axon Pro Review

With the recent introduction of its new flagship line here for the US, the ZTE Axon Pro is undoubtedly the result of many years of ambitious planning. Boasting a specs sheet that impresses on all fronts, the other remarkable part of this phone is the...

Aggressively priced for a high-end, flagship phone ; Premium construction ; Running a mostly stock Android Lollipop experience ; Powerful audio experience ; Nearly perfect call quality performance ; Full manual mode with its camera ; Quick-charging...

Earpiece placement is awkward ; No support for CDMA networks ; Available with only one storage option; 32GB ; HDR mode softens details and makes photos look too artificial ; Automatic mode produces soft looking photos under low light

Review: ZTE Axon Pro

ZTE is looking to tempt would-be flagship buyers with the Axon Pro, an unlocked, premium Android smartphone with good looks and killer specs. Did ZTE manage to dial in the right combination of features and performance? Find out in Phone Scoop's full...

ZTE hopes consumers would rather spend $449 on the Axon Pro than $649 (or higher) for handsets like the One M9, G4, or Galaxy S6. In this case, the price point accurately reflects the value you're getting. The Axon Pro is a good high-end smartphone,...

Fantastic phone - definitely a Flaship Killer

The Android 6.01 has so many better features on the Axon Pro. The Dolby sound is amazing, makes any headset sound great. I'm looking forward to the 2016 version, the value of the Axon is fantastic. . Anyone that prefers the failed Oneplus 2 is a liar.

4gb, 64gb, anti-microbial screen, makes it very easy to clean, comes with $50 headset (what Android phone comes with JBL headset?), TWO(2) year no-fault free shipping Warranty, NFC, Quick Charge, VoLTE, WiFi calling, Band 12 support, excellent customer...

I really haven't found ANY cons, Phone runs perfectly for me.

Too good to be true

After the initial setup, I could not launch Google Play Store for more than 5 seconds before it got force closed by launcher. I managed to install Nova to solve the problem. After the Marshmallows update the default launcher would crash after 2...

* support band 12 * Wi-Fi calling

* no support * launcher very buggy * marshmallow update removes the Dolby audio * Update breaks bluetooth *ZTE does not provide a way to unlock bootloader

Meh...... aweful

Get a One Plus 2 if you can or just about anything else in this price range because it's better than this. Remember, specs are pointless without the software to back it. This phone exemplifies that statement perfectly.

It's a pretty fast device with a nice design. I'm impressed by the quality of this phone, it has a great feel in the hand and it's metal design makes you wish all devices were made similar. It has some decent storage space left over. Even after all my...

Marshmallow on this phone is far from stable. I have never seen so many apk crashes before on any phone I've ever owned. The experience is nerve racking to say the least. I would venture to say that the software isn't far removed from the end-alpha...

Go get something else.

- features

- The back cover became disfigure around the volume button and power button. While in the process of contacting customer service found out the physical mic stopped working too. Send for RMA repair and after few days the case became disfigured again!...

Go and buy it you won't regret it!

Price above all. User Interface needs some tweaking but nothing that is a deal breaker. The U.I. is very good though. The power of this phone rivals almost everything that is out there. 4g of ram. 64 rom total beast for fraction of the cost.

The phone gets hit when in heavy use. This should not be an issue if they designed the phone with vents at the bottom so it could breath but does not affect operation. Another is the UI can be quirky at times but overall it's a pleasure to use. The...

ZTE Axon Pro

I don't even want to exchange. I hope I can get full refund. I will return it even if there's restocking fee. My phone is very important to me and I completely lost my confidence. It's a great phone when it works, for a few hours at least.

1. Excellent phone call quality. 2. Excellent audio output. 3. Good display.

Used it for 1/2 day and it's now dead. Can't do hard reset either.
