Wileyfox Spark

The Wileyfox Spark is a very low-cost phone, designed for the sort of buyer who's willing to shop around online, rather than just heading to the high street and picking the cheapest Samsung device off the shelf.

WileyFox Spark Review: as British as PoundLand

Cheap as chips, and not very good

Expandable storage ; Front camera ; Sleek design

Heinously slow OS ; Battery life won’t last a day ; Rear camera poor

WileyFox Spark review

A plausible price tag, but it's less bright spark and more damp squib

At £89 you can't expect too much from the Spark, but when a phone struggles with even the basics you really have to worry. It's a mind-numbingly frustrating experience from the moment you turn it on, and impossible to recommend.

Wileyfox Spark Review: In Depth

Wileyfox Spark Review: At just £89, the Wileyfox Spark is one of the cheapest mobiles you can bag right now, but you'll be paying the price in other ways. Here's our full Wileyfox Spark review.British…

Terrible performance ; Low light camera action

The Wileyfox Spark tantalises us with a feature-packed OS that packs some great privacy and personalisation tools, as well as a decent budget display and surprisingly good rear camera (during daylight conditions). That’s why it’s so frustrating that...

It certainly looks like a promising set of smartphones, but will they be able to topple the mighty Moto G4? They definitely have price on their side, but when the Moto G4 offers so much more for just £170, Wileyfox has another tough job on its hands....

Wileyfox Spark review - it doesn't light my fire

Beautifully made, but its sluggish performance and terrible battery life fail to make sparks fly

It also failed to complete our offscreen Manhattan 3.0 test in GFX Bench GL, and was an absolute disaster when it came to playing even the simplest of games. Even Threes! was utterly unplayable, so this definitely isn't a good choice for those who like...

Wileyfox Spark is a dirt-cheap phone for selfie addicts on a budget

With its bottom-end price and 8-megapixel front camera, the UK brand's new phone is well suited to the vain and short of cash.
