Telstra 165i

A new and improved Country Phone targets rural Australians.

Rugged design, HSDPA 7.2, Blue Tick rated, excellent call quality, A-GPS

Design won't appeal to all, clicking sound when pressing keys, Bluetooth only 1.2

The Country Phone will feel at home in those remote areas that struggle with mobile coverage. It makes up for an absence of bells and whistles with great performance of its essential features.

Curved, extendable antenna ; Screen is excellent in daylight ; HSDPA and AGPS ; Good battery life

Quite a big phone ; No mapping software installed

Had mine for a month now and very happy with it . Once I got the nokia format out of my head I think it's a much easier phone to use.

A bit bigger than I'm used to.

Telstra T165i

An excellent and ruggardly built phone that stands the test of repeated drops, splashes and still performs flawlessly after nearly two years

Works were most others will not, good audio quality both ways, clear display.

A little bit too long for some shirt pockets - big deal !
