Telstra F852

Telstra's latest Next G handset offers a 2-megapixel camera, a TransFlash card slot and a fully fledged media player. Although its design is far from ...

Reasonable features list, memory card slot, full access to Next G content and services, solid user interface

Internal display not great, proprietary headphone jack, flat keypad, no A2DP Bluetooth

The F852 is a solid but far from outstanding option. Its appeal lies in the fact that it can access the full range of Next G services and content on a relatively inexpensive plan.

The F852 may not be the best Next G phone available, but it looks good and the price is right.

Smart looking design ; Next G data speeds ; Affordable price tag

Display has poor viewing angle ; Poor internal speaker ; Keypad has cheap toy-like feel

Overall Telstra isn't known for it's bargain pricing so perhaps the F852's greatest asset is its AU$439 price tag. For the money you'll get a attractively designed, Next G ready clamshell phone. Don't expect the best of any particular feature, and the...

I bought this phone in late 2008 and still have it today. I've largely had positive experiences with this phone, everything works reasonably well although I don't like the labyrinth layout which takes ages to boot and even more for your contacts and...

Easy to navigate, decent camera, has all the features you need in a camphone

Phone takes too long to boot up, keypad is shoddy with stickers on buttons coming off, no special group categories for priority contacts

I used to work for ZTE at a Telstra office in sydney australia. Let me tell you that ZTE is a CRAP brand of phone in every sense of the word. we had hundreds of calls every day and the phones are so cheaply made we'd send every a customer a refurbished...

The JoinMe software would not install - either from the CD ROM supplied or as a download. On the other hand, Battery life is twice that of its Motorola Razr predecessor in my life.

Battery life

Camera picture quality, PC software unavailable

This phone exemplifies the problems with many ZTE devices. This particular device lacks Durability, Substance & Power.

It would make an adorable paperweight. In cases of utter emergency, this phone could be used, although I seriously doubt the reliability of this phone would facilitate this. Because of this phones low-quality/low-weight approach, this phone will travel...

This device is a Cheap Plastic-y phone that lacks any form of substance. This phone, as with many from ZTE has an outdated and labyrinthian layout and menu system, poor speaker, bluetooth & reception
