T-Mobile Dash

This sleek smart phone is feature-packed, yet nearly lacks the horsepower to keep up with itself.

Slim design with soft-touch texture ; Wi-Fi and stereo Bluetooth ; Works with MyFaves service ; Instant messaging apps included

Relatively slow performance ; Spotty network coverage

T-Mobile Dash

Focused more on fun than on work, the sleek T-Mobile Dash is a device designed to appeal to the Sidekick set. Though it resembles the Motorola Q, the candy bar-style phone is rubberized, rounded, and otherwise made friendlier for riding along in a pocket.

First phone to offer Windows Mobile 6 Svelte design

Lacks applications for editing files

Still, overall, this capable and extremely svelte handset is a strong contender in the PDA phone sweepstakes

T-Mobile Dash

Comfortably small cellular handset shows off the best of Windows Mobile.

Excellent design. Great phone audio quality. Wi-Fi.

Annoying volume button. No Microsoft Office document editors for Windows Mobile Smartphone. ; Watch the T-Mobile Dash Video Review!

T-Mobile Dash Review

The T-Mobile Dash offers many of the features advanced users are looking for in a smartphone, like Push Email, a built-in keyboard, and Wi-Fi. Ed Hardy has a review of this slim, sleek Windows Mobile Smartphone.

Like many devices, the T-Mobile Dash is a product of its compromises.

T-Mobile Dash Review

The Dash uses the same general form-factor that several of its competitors do, but the Dash uses it better than most

Very Thin ; Push Email ; Built-in Keyboard ; Wi-Fi

Keyboard cramped ; Irritating touch-strip

And its price it pretty good. It's regularly $349, but that drops to $199 with a two-year T-Mobile contract, or $249 with a one-year contract. That makes it relatively comparable in price to similar devices, like the Samsung BlackJack or Motorola Q

Review: T-Mobile Dash

This has been a good year for QWERTY smartphones, and the new T-Mobile Dash (HTC S620) might just be the icing on an already tasty cake. With WiFi, EDGE, Bluetooth, and Microsoft's Direct Push technology, the Dash seems to have it all.

Review: T-Mobile Dash

Powered by a 201 MHz ARM processor, the Dash has 64 MB of RAM and 128 MB of Flash ROM, though only about 20 MB is user-accessible. You can augment the storage capacity with a microSD slot that can be found inside the battery compartment, but thankfully...

We don't know if there will ever be a mobile phone that can be all things to all people (or if there ever will), but the Dash comes as close as any we've seen thus far. Those looking for a sleek yet powerful smartphone for personal or business use...

Preview: T-Mobile Dash

When the Motorola Q launched, it set a standard - maybe not for performance, but certainly for features and size.

Solid

Synchs nicely with outlook and I enjoy the wifi. A solid smartphone.
