T-Mobile Dash 3G review

But anyone hunting for a smartphone that does more may want to look elsewhere: the T-Mobile Dash 3G's multimedia features aren't exciting, and its Windows Mobile-based interface lacks pizzazz.

The T-Mobile Dash 3G works very well as a messaging and e-mail device, but it doesn't have the chops to compete with other messaging powerhouses, such as the BlackBerry Curve 8900 or the Sidekick LX, both on T-Mobile as well. The interface is in dire...

T-Mobile Dash 3G review:

The poor T-Mobile Dash has been pulling duty ever since October 2006 and while it's received a minor face-lift and Windows Mobile 6.1 upgrade over the years, it's definitely time for the smartphone to retire. More importantly, T-Mobile customers need...

The T-Mobile Dash 3G brings some nice upgrades, including 3G support, GPS, and a 2-megapixel camera. The smartphone features a slick design with a nice, full QWERTY keyboard. Other highlights include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and plenty of messaging options.

The Dash 3G does not include the Inner Circle feature or UMA support. The screen size is a bit small. Price is a little high compared with the competition.

Long overdue, the T-Mobile Dash 3G is a worthy upgrade to its predecessor with the addition of such features as 3G support, GPS, and an updated design.

T-Mobile Dash 3G

The HTC Dash 3G is a worthy upgrade to the Dash, even though they both use the same Windows Mobile 6.1 OS. The new model has quite a few enhancements including 3G connectivity, an easy-to-use home screen, a trackball, a 2-megapixel camera, and an...

A solid messaging smartphone for T-Mobile

How the T-Mobile Dash 3G stacks up

Very good messaging features, soft-touch finish for easy handling, supports threaded (conversation) messaging display, long battery life, wi-Fi-capable for web surfing

Can't make calls over Wi-Fi, awkward keyboard arrangement, limited 3G coverage, skimpy camera

T-Mobile Dash 3G

Many T-Mobile subscribers will likely welcome the addition of the Dash 3G to the carrier's lineup. The Dash 3G is a nice upgrade over T-Mobile's long-running regular Dash smartphone, which has gone relatively unchanged for the past few years. Read on...

Review: T-Mobile Dash 3G

The short version: A solid, compact WinMo smartphone that's capable of a lot, but can't really compete with the others on the market. The Dash 3g is the successor to the Dash (obviously), which was a good phone back in the day, though limited by...

T-Mobile Dash 3G Review - Pocket PC Central Review of the Dash 3G Smartphone

The Dash has been on T-Mobile's smartphone menu since late 2006. In a world of fast paced gadget evolution, smartphones are usually discontinued and replaced every 12 to 18 months, so the Dash's nearly three-year life span is a testament to its utility.

Excellent Battery Life, Excellent QWERTY Keyboard, Trackball Navigation, 802.11g Wi-Fi, Bluetooth & GPS, Sleek Black Design

3G Not Widely Available, IE Mobile Default Web Browser, Sub-Standard OS Media Support

The T-Mobile Dash 3G is a sleek, attractive smartphone with a bright display, a range of useful features, an excellent QWERTY keyboard and newly added 3G mobile broadband. The Windows Mobile 6.1 Standard OS still leaves something to be desired,...
