Sony Xperia T review

Sharp, detailed screen ; Great video and camera ; Good sound ; Extra Sony content ; Fast

Uninspiring build ; Puzzling design quirks ; Lacks wow factor

A strong all-rounder that makes sense for music and movie lovers

Slim, powerful and with a smashing display, the Sony Xperia T has it all

Amazing 4.6in display ; Slick styling ; Great 13MP camera

Only Ice Cream Sandwich ; Timescape not great ; Average battery life

Sony Xperia T review

New top-end phone enters the fray at Sony

Quick capture on camera ; Great screen ; PlayStation Certified ; MicroSD ; James Bond has one

Only 16GB internal storage ; No Android Jelly Bean ; Mediocre battery performance ; Similar to earlier model

Since throwing off the shackles of the Ericcsson partnership, Sony has forged ahead with its Xperia brand – producing some good looking handsets equipped with enough features to rival the best smartphones.

Sony Xperia T

The Sony Xperia T is looking to turn heads. Running with the tagline "the ultimate HD experience", Sony wants to muscle in on the big boys of the Android world. There's a lot that the Sony Xperia T does right. The display is impressive and once you get...

Display mostly great, powerful enough, affordable, microSD card slot, some nice tweaks from Sony

The design is a bit on the chunky side, positioning of buttons is irritating, battery isn't great, UI could be tidier

There's a lot that the Sony Xperia T does right. The display is impressive and once you get used to bumping the brightness back and forth, you'll appreciate the sharp details it produces and the nice balance of colours.

A powerful smartphone with lots to like, but at current prices it can't quite go head-to-head with the Samsung Galaxy S3

Sony Xperia T review

It might be double oh seven's phone but can the T double the fun of the Xperia S?

Brilliant camera ; Feels like a premium device ; NFC can be useful

Screen could be brighter ; Can sometimes feel a bit sluggish

A thoroughly grown up handset for movie buffs and Facebook fiends

Sony Xperia T Review

Sony has produced yet another great media superphone in the shape of the Xperia T. It has an impressive snapper, captures HD video, and Sony has added its own neat touches to Android Ice Cream Sandwich.

Fantastic snapper; great HD screen; good build quality; brilliant HD display, solid build, easy-to-use interface

Unimpressive design, well-executed but unexciting features

Sony continues to produce fine handsets that do all the right things. The Xperia T is a well-built handset, with a slick user interface and some great styling and features. It may have a retro feel to its design, but it has a fabulous screen, great...

Sony Xperia T review

Sony's latest flagship handset struggled to excite us despite its great camera and gorgeous screen

Vibrant screen, excellent camera

Average battery life, software can be complicated

Sony claims the 1,850mAh battery on the Xperia T will last for around seven hours of talk time, and that seems about right. While the handset will last through a day of average to heavy usage, we did find that we had to charge the handset every night,...
