Sony Ericsson slips in a great value 3G Walkman phone

Excellent Walkman music player ; 3G connectivity for fast downloads ; Good value for money 3G Walkman phone

Sony Ericsson W660i

Before the Apple iPhone arrived, Sony Ericsson had laid claim to be the most powerful mobile music brand in town. Hugely successful, Sony Ericsson's Walkman portfolio has expanded to suit almost every taste and price point

Sony Ericsson W660i review

The Sony Ericsson W660i Walkman phone packs 3G functionality into a familiar music phone design. But is it just more of the same?

3G ; TrackID fuction ; 2 megapixel camera

Lack of camera functions ; Basic design

The W660i gurantees a slick music listening experience thanks to a wealth of features

Sony Ericsson W660i

The Sony Ericsson W660i is an accomplished music phone, but there isn't much new on offer except the design.…

The whole Walkman music experience is seamless, right from the PC software, through to transferring your songs and finally listening on the fully-feature, superb sounding music player

Compared to recent Sony Ericsson handsets like the W810i and K750i, the W660i's two-megapixel camera is poor

While the new W660i is a highly capable music phone and a tad swisher than fellow Walkman candybars, its oh-so-familiar design still failed to inspire us.

Sony Ericsson W660i

Sony Ericsson has started intensively extending its range with a little bit modified editions of already existing devices. Sony Ericsson W660i is one of those, sporting some of the vendor's latest emotional tweaks: light effects, design, more trims...

Two color solutions for Sony Ericsson W660i Rose Red and Record Black have much appeal, as I see it, at that the black-painted phone will obviously fit in both men's and women's hands, whereas the red-coated W660i is meant solely for women

sony ericsson w660i

The W660i is a good little music playing 3G phone. Reasonably priced, decent memory capabilities (up to 2 GB) and all those other little features to keep you entertained - radio, camera, music player, video playback and organizer tools.

Sony Ericsson W660i

Another day, another Walkman phone. But has the latest W660i 3G music phone got anything in its design and feature locker to make you sit up and take notice? 3G finds out.

The whole Walkman music experience is seamless, right through to the fully-featured, superb-sounding music player.

Compared to past Sony Ericsson efforts like the W810i and K750i, the W660i's two-megapixel camera is poor.

The W660i is a capable music phone and a tad swisher than fellow Walkman candybars, its design still failed to inspire us

Sony Ericsson W660i

The stylish 3G enabled W660i from Sony Ericsson is the latest in the Walkman range, and it boasts a slim form-factor and Walkman 2.0 software.

Solid build quality, bright clear screen, user interface

Cramped keypad, a little expensive for features offered

The W660i has a solid, polished feel and comes with a slick user interface, but the cramped keypad is a downside
