Sony Ericsson V630i review

A 3G cutie that packs a punch in features

Good battery life ; Slim and lightweight design ; Stereo Bluetooth

Game demos only ; Only on one network ; No zoom in high quality camera mode

An excellent phone that takes full advantage of the possibilities of 3G

Review: Vodafone/Sony Ericsson V630i

There's a lot going on with the V630i. The new multimedia phone from Sony Ericsson packs so much in, you're bound to be shocked when you hear it ring, reminding you of the reason phones were invented.

Review: Sony Ericsson V630i

A good value, mulimedia 3G handset.

Easy to use candy bar design, wide range of features, multi-media player

Weak battery life when used with 3G, unreliable reception

A good all-rounder and comes at a reasonable price for a 3G pay-as-you-go mobile. A bit power-hungry thogh.

Sony Ericsson V630i

The Vodafone-exclusive V630i is a good all-round 3G handset with a decent range of features that will appeal to a broad-range of users.

Compact, lightweight 3G handset ; 256MB M2 card provided ; Easy-to-use interface ; Flight mode

Average quality still photos and video ; Suffers from occasional connection lock-ups ; Design could win more points in the style department

The V630i doesn't have any particular features that standout. At $449, it's a general all-round phone that should suit most users' needs.
