Sony Ericsson R306 Radio

This phone from Sony Ericsson has a radio as its selling point, but with a twist it also has the capability to record directly from the radio as well TrackID which connects to the internet to tell you the artist and title of the clip youve...

It has the function to record ?directly from radio, which is excellent and it features TrackID.

Sony Ericsson R306

The R306 isn't much more expensive than the R300, however, for only 15 Euros more you get a more likable form-factor, 1.3 Mpix camera and slightly better software. So, it'd seem that the R306's release date was pushed back relative to the R300 in an...

FM/AM radio with presets.

FM/AM radio, external display, preset buttons, price, build quality, sleek design

Sunlight makes both displays hard to read, radio requires proprietary headset, TrackID can’t be used with radio

If you are hell-bent on listening to AM/FM radio, then the R306 is a pretty handy and inexpensive handset.

Sony Ericsson R306 Radio review: Stay tuned

Sony Ericsson R306 Radio is quite unusually set to revolve around one single thing - listening to radio on-the-go. Its built-in radio tuner works in both FM and AM. The lower midrange R306 Radio delivers on other fronts too - it packs a 1.3 megapixel...

FM/AM radio tuner with RDS and TrackID ; AM tuner has two modes: 9 kHz (Americas and Japan) and 10 kHz (the rest) ; Dedicated external radio controls ; Tri-band GSM support ; 1.9" 65K-color TFT display of a 128 x 160 pixel resolution ; Secondary...

External display has low daylight legibility due to the mirror finish ; Radio is not that usable without the headset plugged in ; Standard headset jack is huge ; RDS readings not shown on external display ; Stores 20 stations only for AM and FM bands...

Sony Ericsson R306

This one's for your nan -- it's a basic, budget flip phone equipped with an AM radio and not much else.

Large buttons ; Has AM radio reception ; Simple to use

Only 5MB of storage ; Input lag during texting ; Fuzzy radio reception ; Annoying nav key

The R306 is easy to use, but the annoying navigation key, laggy messaging interface and fuzzy radio reception don't add up to a very good phone, even at this budget price.

Sony Ericsson R306

All was going well with this phone until the battery life only lasted two days on no use and 3/4 of the day with normal use. This phone could of been better, but apart from the buttons design and the clamshell look, this phone is not worth owning.

Sony Ericsson R306

It was nice and simple. The only complaint I had for a long time was the SHOCKING memory. I'm not a big phone user, but I had to delete messages daily so that I could continue to get more and had to delete all my photos. I don't know what the company...
