Sony Ericsson P1i review

A few usability niggles, but will the P1i's features make up for it?

Looks good ; BlackBerry Connect v4.0 software ; 3.2 megapixel camera

Not the most intuitive phone to use ; Only compatible with Memory Stick

Some nice features make this look like a worthwhile investment, but its flaws seem to overshadow its better points

Sony Ericsson P1i with BlackBerry Connect

We reviewed the 3G Sony Ericsson P1i handset for two reasons: a Sony-branded business phone is a rarity, and it's the first Sony Ericsson phone to work with BlackBerry Connect.

On the whole, then, the Sony Ericsson P1i is a so-so business handset. Connectivity is plenty fast enough thanks to the 3G provision and there are more than enough distractions, but we wouldn’t honestly choose this phone over any number of solid...

Sony Ericsson P1i review

The powerful Sony Ericsson P-series has always been a serious mobile business tool – but now the P1i is taking it for a mosey down multimedia mile

The P1i is the most realised member of the P-series yet, with a compact frame and newly acquired multimedia might to match its sharp business acumen

Sony Ericsson P1i Preview

Preview: Sony Ericsson's flagship smartphone has dropped a collar size, polished its brogues and been reborn as a sweet new BlackBerry killer

25 per cent smaller than the P990

No HSDPA

The fatty 990 now has a skinny successor. But can it squash some BlackBerries?

Sony Ericsson P1i review -

Based on previous P-series efforts, the Sony Ericsson P1i is incredibly compact and supremely built for such a powerful multimedia specimen

The dual QWERTY keyboard and touch-screen-driven user interface may not sit well with everyone

A compact keyboard can't make up for the confusing interface.

Sony Ericsson P1i review

The Sony Ericsson P1i - how smart is a non Windows Smartphone? OK I?m a self confessed Window Mobile devotee, note I don?t say fan because I like to think I view the OS without fanboy's glasses, however there?s an original Orange SPV in...

In conclusion, the P1i is a stylish PDA and if you are using it to organise your personal life you’ll probably love it, if it’s coming to work with you youmight find it a little more challenging
