Samsung Comeback SGH-t559 (T-Mobile)

The Samsung Comeback SGH-t559 is a sluggish, ungainly messaging phone that offers good voice quality, but few other compelling reasons to buy it.

Includes 3G support. Solid voice quality. Decent camera and video playback. Excellent battery life in EDGE mode.

Bulky. Feels cheap. Non-standard headphone jack. UI is steeped in molasses. Low-rent external LCD.

Camera and Conclusions The 2-megapixel camera is standard in this class, though it lacks a flash or auto-focus capability. Like everything else with the Comeback, it was slow to take pictures, with a four to five second delay between each one. Actual...

Samsung Comeback SGH-T559 review:

T-Mobile hasn't been quite as aggressive as other carriers in rolling out messaging-centric phones, unless you count smartphones like the Sidekick. The only messaging phones in its stable have so far been the Samsung Gravity SGH-T459 , which looks a...

The Samsung Comeback SGH-T559 has plenty of features, including quad-band support, 3G, a full HTML browser with Flash Lite support, and GPS. It also has very good call quality.

The Samsung Comeback has a clunky design, plus the microSD card slot is behind the battery. The keyboard is on the small side.

If you don't mind its bulky appearance, the Samsung Comeback is one of the most feature-packed messaging phones T-Mobile has to offer.

Flip-style messaging phone for T-Mobile

The Samsung Comeback has the key ingredient sought by most heavy text messagers: a full QWERTY keyboard. The flip phone, which resembles a T-Mobile Sidekick, opens to reveal a 2.7-inch TFT internal screen, with detailed images and vibrant...

Full QWERTY keyboard, sharp internal screen, full HTML web browser

Samsung Comeback SGH-t559 Frost Silver Cherry

With the wireless market becoming increasingly saturated, manufacturers are relying more and more on unique designs to appeal to buyers.  While it's inevitably going to be a love or hate design, the Samsung Comeback is unique, and is a welcome addition...

Despite the keyboard and design challenges, the Samsung Comeback is an important player in the mid-range phone lineup at T-Mobile. With a QWERTY keyboard and decent battery life, it's sure to please those that text on a regular basis. Despite that, the...

Review: Samsung SGH-T559 Comeback review

Samsung's Sidekick-like T559 Comeback for T-Mobile is a 3G messaging device with a flip up external display and keypad that reveals a large internal display and QWERTY keyboard. Ricky tests it out to see if how it performs in this review.

The Samsung Comeback's 960mAh battery is capable of lasting through an entire work day, with Gmail IMAP checking throughout the day, music playing for several hours, a bit of light web browsing, a dozen photos, and sending/receiving roughly 20 SMS. I...

Samsung Comeback (Samsung T559)

It is a little like a cross between a Nokia E90 and a T-Mobile Sidekick, aimed at those who want to send a lot of email or IM messages, but at the same time it can be used like a traditional cellphone.

Cannot judge the Comeback by the looks ”

I must say that I am disappointed in this product. I was so excited by the picture and thought it was a very sharp looking phone. When it came the first thing I realized, it was very bulky and did not fit right in my hand. There just seems to be too...

Samsung Comeback Has Been Great! ”

I was pretty weary at first about purchasing a Samsung phone, espeically after my experiances with other brands (like Motorola). I purchased this phone for my husband who is very rough on phones. I was hoping since he would probably break the outside...
