Samsung Mesmerize (U.S. Cellular)

The Mesmerize, Samsung's Galaxy S phone for U.S. Cellular, is the carrier's top smartphone.

Fast. Brilliant screen. Very good camera and video playback.

Voice dialing not very accurate. U.S. Cellular only in 26 states.

Media and Conclusions Like all Galaxy S phones, the Mesmerize is an excellent media player. Samsung's music app shows album art, and it played all of my unprotected music files (including OGG format) flawlessly—both over wired and Bluetooth headphones....

Samsung Mesmerize (US Cellular)

Like the Fascinate, the Mesmerize is a very good voice phone. It's nice and loud, and voices sound clear. The speakerphone is of a decent volume. Transmissions sound good; there's a bit of background noise, but voices come through clearly. You get a...

Samsung Mesmerize (U.S. Cellular) review

Samsung puts out a lot of cell phones, but the company's been rather quiet on the smartphone front compared with the likes of HTC and Motorola--that is, until recently. With the introduction of its Galaxy S series, Samsung has been very aggressive...

The Samsung Mesmerize boasts a beautiful Super AMOLED touch screen and a 1GHz Hummingbird processor. The smartphone's 5-megapixel camera takes excellent photos and video.

Call quality could be slightly better. The phone feels a bit slick.

The Samsung Mesmerize is a top-notch smartphone for U.S. Cellular customers, offering a brilliant touch screen, speed, and plenty of features.

Samsung Mesmerize review [U.S. Cellular]

US Cellular is certainly carving out a name for themselves in the Android world, and the release of the Samsung Mesmerize brings one of the best Android handsets currently on the market to their netwo...

In short, if you're a US Cellular subscriber and an Android fan, this one's for you. I would recommend this phone to any friend or family member, and the quality of US Cellular's network (in my area) is icing on the cake.

"Complete JUNK"

Part of CONS yet wants to connect to computer when its not plugged in, speaker phone doesn't work (hear but can't talk) when turned off wont turn back on until plugged in, screen randomly blinks alot and it vibrates for no reason. SUMMERY: DON'T BUY

it still turns on (most times)

Takes screen captures randomly when lock button is pushed, sent back and new one does same, gave up. 8 months old, good condition, but now it doesn't want to connect to computer, doesn't always stay on charger, out of room... more in summery

Best phone EVER!!!

If you are looking for an amazing, top of the line, countless memories in the making, perfect, and unique phone, GET THIS ONE!! Okay, I am a teen, and this is my 6th or 7th phone since I was 9, and by far has been MY FAVORITE!!! Its AMAZING! Get it!!

It has BEAUTIFUL camera quality, big and bright screen, slender, lightweight, easy to carry around, LOTS of memory, FUN, PERFECT!

The only con I have is, that it doesn't have the ability to have a signature. You can download apps for that, so not too big of a problem.

"I HATE this phone. Major breakdowns on a regular basis."

I previously had the Palm Centro (twice) and it wasn't flashy but it had a good battery life and was pretty steady. However, I started having problems with it syncing. I decided to get a new phone since I really wanted to easily sync my work calendar...

This phone has great features- it is pretty user friendly and I love the different screens and app options.

Does not sync well with work calendar and contacts. Every few days it actually locks me out of my work computer account, so I can't even log onto my work computer. It also freezes regularly requiring me to take out the battery at least once a week.

"Pretty good."

The phone was perfect until the first update to Froyo. I was getting two and a half days to a battery. After Froyo, less than a day. After Froyo the touch was noticeably diminished, and there were great lags in almost any use. The patch came out and...

Thin. Large bright screen. Fast.

Android updates.
