Samsung Mondi review

We can live with the Samsung Mondi's keyboard and the UI is only sluggish occasionally. The future of WiMax is unclear right now, but if you live in an area where the technology has been deployed, the Mondi might let you take advantage of WiMax’s...

Samsung Mondi SWD-M100 review

Editors' note: The Samsung Mondi is designed for Clearwire's WiMax markets. At the time of this writing, service is limited to Las Vegas, Atlanta, and Portland, Ore. Customers also can access Sprint's WiMax network in Baltimore. WiMax is not yet...

The Samsung Mondi has generous feature set, an easy-to-use touch-screen, and an attractive design.

The Samsung Mondi uses Windows Mobile 6.1, which results in a schizophrenic user interface. Usage will be limited outside of WiMax markets.

If you're itching for a WiMax device and you can get over the sometimes-frustrating user interface, the Samsung Mondi delivers satisfying performance.

Samsung Mondi SWD-M100 (WiMAX)

The Samsung Mondi may be the most powerful Windows Mobile device ever, but its form factor won't win it any friends.

Only WiMAX handheld on the market. Fast. Great for playing video.

Awkward form factor is a proven loser. GPS won't lock in. Inconsistent UI.

The Mondi's main 3-megapixel, autofocus camera is quite sharp in daylight situations, and the video mode takes somewhat jerky but sharp 640-by-480, 15 frame-per-second videos. A VGA camera on the front is primarily for video chatting.— Next:...

Samsung Mondi

Large display, capable mobile office., Solid build quality, large and sharp high resolution display that's easy on the eyes. Plenty of built-in storage. As always with Windows Mobile, you get excellent MS Exchange support and desktop syncing to Outlook...

WiMAX service is in its infancy., Gets sluggish at times, GPS isn't the strongest, hard to find a good WiMAX signal indoors. WiMAX coverage areas are currently very limited

The Samsung Mondi is a powerful handheld, but it feels a bit behind the times now that PDAs have been eclipsed by powerful smartphones that are smaller and equally as capable. The Mondi is the first 4G handheld and that should give it a leg up: it...

Review Of The Samsung Mondi SWD-M100 Cell Phone

The Samsung mondi is the most quickest and probably the most fastest windows mobile device I have come across, and surely all the credit goes to 800 MHz Samsung ARM11 processor. It has also tried hard to make the menu buttons more finger friendly by...

Slick design, generous feture-set

Exorbitant price, not much of an use outside the Wi-Max markets

The mondi on a serious note has a lot going for. It’s a VoIP phone, a camera and an in-car GPS. Its only drawback being its size. It’s quite huge to fit into your pocket so it cannot replace your phone. The keyboard is quite small for regular small so...
