Samsung Gravity Q (T-Mobile)

The Samsung Gravity Q for T-Mobile offers a physical keyboard, but feels like a phone that landed a decade too late.

The music player handled MP3, AAC and WMA files, but the video app balked at imported WMV and MP4 clips. The error message it displayed for the former was a masterpiece of concise unhelpfulness: “Try again.” Transferring files from an iMac and a...

Affordable. Works well as a voice phone. Physical full-QWERTY keyboard.

Awful browsing experience. Feeble camera. Small collection of limited apps.

Samsung Gravity Q (T-Mobile) review:

The Samsung Gravity Q is one answer for anyone wondering where can they find a cell phone with a real keyboard. As a simple feature phone, it isn't the best answer, but it bravely carries on the (dying) tradition of slider handsets with physical keys.

The Samsung Gravity Q has a simple design that's easy to use and a spacious, comfortable keyboard.

The Gravity Q has a small, dark display and supports only 3G data. Call quality was variable, with a speakerphone that's almost unusable.

If you're not opting for a smartphone and you can look past its dated design, the Samsung Gravity Q is your best choice for a T-Mobile keyboard phone.

Easy to use

Low quality display ; Sluggish performance ; Horrible call quality

Let’s talk about cost briefly here, as the Samsung Gravity Q for T-Mobile requires a down payment of $9.99 up front, then 24 monthly installment payments of $6 each, which brings its total cost to $153.99. Looking at the figure, it’s not that bad, but...
