Samsung Galaxy Ring review:

If you're looking for a budget prepaid Android smartphone, you can do better than Virgin Mobile's Samsung Galaxy Ring. Although the phone's entry-level specs sound fine on paper -- a 4-inch touch screen, dual-core processor, and 5-megapixel camera --...

The Samsung Galaxy Ring has good call quality and a dedicated camera button, and costs an affordable $150 off-contract.

It has poor screen quality, lacks 4G, takes dull photos, and has a very slow processor.

Pass on the slow, disappointing Samsung Galaxy Ring in favor of LG's superior Optimus F3.

Not a great phone

Purchased this phone as an upgrade from an LG Optimus Elite and may go back. Screen is bigger and processor is faster but phone kept crashing during initial setup. It's been hit or miss the last 8 months I have had it. Still can't figure out why this...

great camera for my teen

He navigates it easy and it's not too big. Only problem I have noticed is there is no way to block a call. He gets calls from a company who we don't know for an employee. It's annoying!

Decent phone, but one caveat

If you are replacing your current VM no-contract phone with this one, be careful. I had an Optimus V from several years ago, so this phone's faster CPU and 4 GB of storage were significant upgrades for me. However, to transfer my account to this phone,...

This phone is lousy!

My first phone lasted just a few months. It was under warranty so it was replaced. Now, I cannot get the on button to engage without many, many tries. Sometimes it takes 24 button pushes to start. I should have called when it first started because...
