Samsung SGH-D830 review

Meet the world's slimmest clamshell

2-megapixel camera ; TV output ; Small but well-specified

Battery life ; Call quality

It's a bit of a bumpy ride for the D830; there are many good points, but also a few dips in form

Samsung SGH-D830 mobile phone - Pocket-lint

A dated design and awkward to use keypad means this wasn't for us - if you must have Samsung and you must have thin, stick with the X820

Thin, 2 megapixel camera

Lacks any real design, keypad isn't responsive

With the same feature set as the X820 this really comes down to whether or not you want a clamshell over a candy bar design, if it has to be Samsung and thin.

Samsung D830

Besides Samsung X820, which is the slimmest candy bar phone, company saved all other form-factors in slim design as well, and each of them has some groundbreaking results too. Slim clamshell is Samsung D830 model, it is part of Ultra Edition model...

As for receiving part, the handset does fine, though it would be strange to find out something different considering current connectivity level of all released mobile phones. The sound provided by the loudspeaker is pure and lacks foreign noises. The...

Samsung D830 Phone

The super thin Samsung D830 is also known as the Samsung SGH-D830 & is one of the thinnest Samsung handsets to hit the mobile phone market. The D830 is a Ultra Edition 9.9 mobile phone as it is only 9.9 mm in thickness which is easy for the user to...

SAMSUNG SGHD830 review | cellphone prices in php | cellphones | www.CgeNa.com

SGH-D830's feel is quite ok, simplistic, and well though out engineered.

The SGH-D830 has a nice design lalo pa at tagumpay talaga ang Samsung sa pagiging slim nito. However, thinness aside, you'll find its downfalls. It was awkward to open the clam, while the flat keyboard was a barrier to efficient use, despite its...

Samsung SGH-D830

Cashing on the slim-form-factor, Samsung has extended the already existing line of phones. Let's see Samsung SGH-D830 is real slim or too thin?

Slim, 2 MP camera, MicroSD card slot, Good internal dislay, Multiple bluetooth profiles

Un-ergonomic keypad, Uncomfortable grip, Poor battery life, No FM, A little expensive

Review: Samsung SGH-D830

The gorgeous and thin Samsung SGH-D830 is sure to draw looks everywhere you take it, and while it is the thinnest folder style handset in the world (for now), Sam finds out that the device is flawed overall. Read our review for more.

Out of the whole Ultra series, the D830 might appear to be the most appealing.
