Samsung C5220

A 3.6Mbps HSDPA-capable mobile phone exclusive to Telstra's Next G network.

Gloss black finish, light, comfortable keypad and controls, good value for money

Fingerprint magnet, screen difficult to see in sunlight, interface a little slow

Samsung's C5220 certainly represents good value for money. It's not a mobile phone that will blow you away in terms of features, but this is a solid package that should serve most users well.

Samsung C5220

A modest handset with a matching modest price tag. There's lots of neat phone features missing from this passable prepaid, but then, you won't have to pay for them either.

Next G web speeds, Easy to use

Fingerprint magnet, Flat keypad lacks definition, No 3.5mm headphone socket, Low-res display

The C5220 is a passable prepaid from Telstra. Its low-specs are elevated somewhat by Next G compatibility, though there's little else to recommend it.

Over all a slightly dissapointing phone with bad text messaging qualities but is good for music listeners. The good battery life is the best thing about the phone.

It is a very thick phone which makes it difficult to fit into tight pants. It's glass portion on the front is susceptable to cracking. The phones individual memory is very small. It can only hold 225 text messages before it asks you to delete them. To...
