Samsung Flight SGH-a797 (AT&T)

The Samsung Flight for AT&T offers a good mix of media and messaging power with its touch screen and hardware QWERTY keyboard.

Good touch screen and QWERTY keyboard. Powerful Web browser. Well-tuned UI. Good camera.

Call quality just OK. A little bulky. Proprietary headphone jack.

Multimedia, Camera, and Conclusions The Flight has 80MB of internal memory, and the microSD card slot underneath the battery cover accepted my 16GB SanDisk card fine. MP3, WMA, and AAC tracks sounded good over Motorola S9-HD Bluetooth headphones. The...

Samsung Flight review: Samsung Flight

The Samsung Flight has a sturdy, easy-to-use design and a functional feature set.

The Samsung Flight is sluggish at times. Call quality wasn't perfect, and streaming video was inconsistent.

The Samsung Flight offers a unique, likable design and a fair number of features, but some performance gaps keep it from playing in the big leagues.

Samsung Flight A797 Review

Last year we saw Samsung target the budget conscious text messenger with the square shaped design and entry level cost of the Propel. It wasn't too fancy in the features department, but managed to captivate users with its slide out QWERTY keyboard....

Review Of Samsung Flight SGH-A797 Cell Phone

The touch screen is 2.8 inches big and the resolution that you get is 240X320 pixels which is good for a screen like this. Remember that this is not a smart phone, even though it has a full QWERTY keyboard and a touch screen. You can adjust the...

Sturdy, easy to use design, great looks

Sluggish, bad call quality

We weren't happy with the phone much. The phone gives you the idea that it is a smart phone because of the touch screen capability and QWERTY keyboard. But it is not a smart phone. We experienced sluggishness on the phone quite a lot of times and this...

The touchy touch screen

This is my husband's phone. He says that he loves it. The only problem I have is that when I use it I can't seem to get the touch screen to work in my favor. He always has great reception, and it is pretty fast on the web as well.

Samsung Flight A797 cell phone

I'd say the general layout of the phone is about as accomodating as can be made. They added the qwerty keyboard to make all the texters happy(which I find to be very handy also) It is very handy for browsing the web also. You also have the option of...
