Samsung SGH-a737

This fashionable budget slider has decent 3G speeds and a good music player, but call quality could be better.

Fast 3G, Slim form factor, Dedicated music buttons

Lackluster camera, Mediocre call quality

AT&T's Cellular Video service worked well on the a737, even in EDGE-only areas. Clips loaded in 15 seconds with 3G network coverage, a bit slow but smooth when played back, and voices synced well with audio. However, such services cost a bit more:...

Samsung SGH-A737

The Samsung SGH-A737 is one of those cell phones that looks like a basic phone, but in this petite package is a ton of multimedia functionality. Since it supports the latest in high-speed 3G data networks (HSPA), you can watch streaming video, listen...

Samsung SGH-A737

A lightweight phone that is barely over three ounces, the Samsung SGH-A737 utilizes the popular slide form factor design. The stereo Bluetooth makes the phone functional for business use as well as personal. While the camera is pretty much standard, it...

No complicated processes to use the functions ; Priced moderately, which is great for the budget ; A display screen that is really remarkable ; Good signal strength

Battery life could be better ; Charger ports are not standardized, which can be a problem ; Some issues with the sound quality during calls

The Samsung A737 has lived up to the Samsung reputation by offering a very attractive display screen, with excellent graphics and attractive animations. Out in the sun, or even in direct view of fluorescent light, the display can be a little difficult...

Good Little Phone

I read some reviews saying the screen res. wasn't up to par, but I think its fine. It's way cheaper to buy this phone on Newegg and not extend your contract then to get one from ATT. They always find a way to charge you "fees" etc.

Relatively solid construction, slider has a nice firm feel. Charged right up and had it added to an existing ATT family plan $10/mo- no problem. Accessories are cheap

Samsung packaging was kind of flimsy to say the least ; ATT does chg $26 to add it to your plan

I love the phone but the call quality is bad. Sometimes is seem like water is in the line when I am talking to someone. What can be done to fix this problem?

Samsung SGH-A737

I usually stick with Sony Ericsson and am not a fan of slider style cell phones, so I expected some navigational difficulty with the Samsung SGH-A737. I do not know about actual battery life, but I do know it heated up within 10 minutes or less of...

Samsung SGH-A737

I am not very impressed with the Samsung SGH-A737. I have had it for six months. Although I must say it seems to be durable, I have had problems with the lock mechanism. My problem is that it stopped working. Now when I slide open my phone the light...

Samsung SGH-A737

The Samsung SGH-A737 is an all-around basic device that performs well in almost every category. Menu design is simple and straightforward. I like that you can load any 15-second or less mp3 file and use it as a ringtone. Much better than paying for one...
