DUO

Looking for a cell phone that combines unique design with a good dose of functionality? Here's one to add to your list: the Pantech Duo from AT&T Wireless. Business users will appreciate its good selection of office software and messaging options,...

Light, compact size Cool dual-sliding design

Pantech Duo

The Windows Mobile–powered Pantech Duo impresses with its slick dual-keyboard design, but looks aren't everything.

Sweet dual-keyboard styling. Good voice quality. Fast CPU. High-speed data support.

Cramped QWERTY keyboard. No Wi-Fi or GPS. Subpar camera. Buggy video.

Pantech Duo C810 (AT&T) review: Pantech Duo C810 (AT&T)

Pantech isn't really known as a juggernaut in the smartphone world, especially when compared with HTC or Palm. However, it has made some inroads in the smartphone market in the past. There was the Verizon Wireless-branded PN-820 flip phone with Windows...

The Pantech Duo has a unique dual-slider design with a slide-out number dialpad plus a QWERTY keyboard. It comes with the Windows Mobile 6 OS as well as a 1.3-megapixel camera, quad-band support, HSDPA, plus access to AT&T's broadband services.

The Pantech Duo has a cheap plastic body with a flimsy sliding mechanism. The QWERTY keyboard felt flush to the surface and was tricky to use

Even though the Pantech Duo has an impressive feature set that include 3G/HSDPA support, we were ultimately disappointed with its subpar design.

Pantech C810

The highlight of the Pantech Duo C810 is its unique dual-slider design. Slide the cover up to reveal a standard dial pad; slide it to the right and you're presented with a full QWERTY keyboard. It's ingenious in its own way, though not without a few...

Pantech Duo - Windows Mobile Smartphone Reviews by Mobile Tech Review

First impressions aren't always the best. When I first received the Pantech Duo, the small, plasticy device looked too. . . plasticy and I thought the worst. The lowly 1.3 megapixel camera, old-timey Bluetooth 1.2 and lack of GPS, a suddenly standard...

A very small smartphone! Solid (durable, rigid plastics), fast processor and better than average speed, good display, great dual-slider design. Good HSDPA performance and reception with fast web page load times. CV performs well, as do other multimedia...

Terrible camera, SD card slot doesn't support cards over 2 gigs in capacity, not classy looking

and SMT5800 (who share the QWERTY sideways slider design but not a keypad slider) look a tad big, and the Moto Q Global looks absolutely huge. The display is sharp and bright and all the Windows Mobile features are there and work well, making this a...

Pantech Duo Review

The Pantech Duo dual-slider phone is following a popular trend in smartphone design. A dual-slider phone features both a standard T9 keypad and a QWERTY keyboard. Both keypads slide out in different directions; one vertically and the other horizontally...

AT&T Pantech Duo - Successfully Bridges Lifestyle and Business

That's one choice you don't have to make with the AT&T Pantech Duo C180. This inexpensive ($199) dual-slider device aims to straddle the line between lifestyle phone and serious business tool, which it manages to accomplish for the most part.

PHOTOVIEW: Hands-on with the AT&T Pantech Duo C810 Windows Mobile Smartphone

Nothing new for North American readers here but during last week's Möbius 2007 conference I got my hands on a recently released AT&T Pantech Duo C810 Windows Mobile 6 Standard smartphone which I was quite fascinated about when I saw it the first time....
