Palm Treo Pro review

A feature-packed and comfortable smartphone aimed at the corporate user

Impressive feature set ; Good screen ; User-friendly ; Generous connectivity

Cramped keypad

Doesn't offer anything groundbreaking, but this is still an appealing phone that offers good value for money

Palm Treo Pro mobile phone - Pocket-lint

A good looking design combined with a decent feature set in a device that doesn't try to be everything to everyone means that this is a Windows device

Windows Mobile 6.1, Wi-Fi button, 3.5mm headphones jack, design

Processor slow at times, Windows Mobile 6.1

Like an England qualifying game, somehow Palm has managed to pull something out of the bag with the Palm Treo Pro. Palm has struggled to create a device that we would actually want for a long time, however the Treo Pro goes a long way to change that.

With all the excellent competition about, Palm's latest effort will have to excel to compete.

Palm Treo Pro review

The Treo Pro is a plain, businesslike smartphone with a full QWERTY keyboard, rounded edges and a glossy black case.

Palm Treo Pro review

The latest Treo is sleek, slim and, ahem, loaded with Windows Mobile. Can it return Palm to the smartphone top table?

The best-looking Palm yet and one of the finest Windows Mobile smartphones around. If only it had Palm’s OS

Palm Treo Pro review

Know Your Cell reviews the Palm Treo Pro - a Windows Mobile Professional smartphone with a very responsive touchscreen

Qwerty keyboard ; Windows Mobile 6 Professional ; Ultra-responsive touchscreen ; Solid build

Awful camera ; No on/off function ; No free SatNav software included

A fantastic attempt from Palm, but lacks the multimedia features to compete with other WM smartphones

Palm Treo Pro review

Palm's new Treo brings the same flat-faced, round-cornered design to its business smartphone as used in the consumer-focused Centro. Windows Mobile 6.1 is used here instead of the Centro's Palm OS…

Palm brings a full bag of tricks to the Treo Pro but manages to let itself down with some basic errors

The two-megapixel camera is below par and the keyboard is fiddly to use

In a crowded market the Treo Pro fails to really stand out.

Palm Treo Pro

The Treo Pro is easily the best smartphone in the Palm line to date. It packs a fresh design, multiple radios, GPS, and a decent screen; still, there's nothing that stands out from flashy competitors such as iPhone. By matching the competition's...

Palm Treo Pro Review

Palm are arguably the pioneer of the PDA right from the original Palm Pilot in the mid-90's through to today's Treo Pro. What started off as a modest 512kB PDA has today morphed into a sophisticated multimedia device. No longer a simple...

Clear and reliable phone calls ; Quality feel ; Bright and sharp screen ; Battery life ; Good connectivity ; Good hardware specification

Fiddly keypad ; Glossy finish attracts dust and fingerprints ; Windows Mobile 6 (it's a Palm!)

Palm Treo Pro

Can the PDA maker come up with the goods to give Apple et al a run for their money?

If you don’t want to buy an iPhone or an E71 and need a Windows-powered smartphone that you can use along side your camera (rather than in place of), this device is the business
