OnePlus 6

Its sub-£500 starting price, flagship specs, stunning design and capable dual camera render this the most competitive OnePlus yet.

A huge leap in design ; Seriously fast ; Dash Charge is still great, if slightly restrictive ; A well-thought-out version of Android with great extras

Camera still needs improvement ; Missing a few ‘flagship’ features

Like the prospect of an IP rating, there were many rumours before launch that the OnePlus 6 would be the first in the series to enable wireless charging.

OnePlus 6 review: the progeny of smartphone royalty has arrived

Can the successor to one of the most popular phones ever reclaim its throne?

Incredibly fast, with big benchmark scores ; Packs a whopping 8GB of RAM ; Large and vivid AMOLED, HDR screen ; Beautiful all-glass design ; Lightning fast face unlock ; Silk White colourway is lush

Battery capacity is good but not ideal ; Flat light camera system performance isn't great ; Water resistant, but not IP67/68 certified ; No wireless charging

OnePlus 6 review: Glorious, glossy and powerful

The OnePlus 6 is a killer phone and would - quite frankly - be a competitive flagship even if it was priced to match its competitors. It's not, and

Good-looking design with sturdy build ; Bright and colourful display ; Dash Charge is a major plus ; Speedy smooth performance ; Much better camera

No wireless charging ; No official IP rating against water and dust resistance ; Most Android apps not optimised for notched screen yet

The OnePlus 6 is an awesome phone and would - quite frankly - be a competitive flagship even if it was priced to match its competitors. It's not, and as such its £469 starting price point makes it complete no brainer. This is the company's first...

OnePlus 6 review

The speed, and the phone, you need

Plenty of power, strong cameras ; Clean, fuss-free Android interface ; Glass design is premium

'Only' a Full HD resolution ; No expandable storage ; Single, down-firing speaker

The OnePlus 6 feels grown-up, and it certainly doesn’t look or feel out of place alongside the top-flight competition from the likes of Apple, Samsung and Sony. Performance is good, the screen bright and colorful, the design appealing, and there’s a...

OnePlus 6 review: OnePlus’ most impressive smartphone yet

The OnePlus 6 is better than ever, and is still much cheaper than its Android rivals

Significantly cheaper than its rivals ; Camera is better than ever ; Excellent performance

Shorter battery life than the OnePlus 5T

Throw in a handful of camera upgrades, a refreshing new design and Android 8.1 Oreo straight out the box, and the OnePlus 6 begins to paint a familiarly appealing picture. This is a smartphone that’s just as meaty as its rivals, with a...

The Oppo R15 Pro is almost as good as the OnePlus 6

Oppo's R15 Pro is a great phone, just not quite as great as the similarly priced OnePlus 6.

The Oppo R15 Pro is a strong all-rounder, giving you solid cameras, battery life and power for a reasonable price. It also looks less like an iPhone than previous models, and it comes with a headphone jack.

Oppo's operating system is still a blatant iOS clone, and portrait photos can look washed out. They charge through the outdated Micro-USB port.

The Oppo R15 Pro is a terrific midrage phone, but it lacks the OnePlus 6's processing power, more interesting operating system and battery life.

Honor 10 is no match for the OnePlus 6

A lovely blue and purple finish and a reasonable price tag aren't enough to put the Honor 10 over the top.

The Honor 10 delivers the same fast speeds and stylish colours as its cousin, the Huawei P20 Pro, at half the price. It has a standard headphone jack too.

The camera doesn’t begin to approach the excellence of the P20 models or the similarly priced OnePlus 6.

The Honor 10 is a stylish midrange Android phone, but the OnePlus 6 offers better performance all round for only a little more money.

OnePlus 6 review: Top-notch speed and performance for hundreds less

Yet another unmissable deal from Android's indie star.

The OnePlus 6 is blazing fast, shoots amazing portrait mode photos, has a polished refined design and costs much less than other flagship phones.

It lacks waterproofing, wireless charging and has a shorter battery life than the OnePlus 5T. In the US, the phone doesn't work on CDMA carriers like Verizon and Sprint.

The OnePlus 6 is an excellent phone and gives you many of the features of more costly flagship phones.

OnePlus 6 Review: Bigger, but is it better?

One of the most anticipated handsets of the year is the OnePlus 6. Exactly half of the Recombu community voted for this 6.3-inch beast as...

Unbeatable performance ; Impressive camera tech ; Awesome battery life

No IP rating ; No expandable storage ; Massive frame

Now, we have to get this out of the way right now – the OnePlus 6 is not our favourite phone of 2018 so far. That trophy is still clutched tight in the clammy grasp of Huawei’s super-sexy P20 Pro. However, the OnePlus 6 does offer stronger value for...
