The 625 is snappy enough and does all the usual Windows Phone things, but it's overpriced, the camera isn't great and the screen isn't very good: it's bigger but less sharp than its predecessor. You'd be better off with a Lumia 620 or a Nexus.

Good value for money, Nokia gives you a great Windows Phone experience, solid design and build, it has a big display if that's what you crave, microSD slot, doesn't feel cheap

Screen is low resolution and not a great performance display, you miss out on things like compass and NFC, limited apps, larger screen size doesn't extend functionality of OS

With each Nokia Lumia device we examine we find a lot to love. Nokia's design is solid throughout much of the Lumia range, the specifications see Windows Phone 8 ticking along without complaint and the Finnish company is certainly bringing improvements...

The Nokia Lumia 625 is a big, bright and colourful Windows Phone 8 handset. If you're looking for a 4G capable smartphone on a budget then this is a great buy. It has good build and performance but has limited internal storage and a mediocre camera.

Low display pixel density; outer shell not easily removable; prone to noticeable lag whilst multitasking; and camera performance not on par with other Lumia devices.
