Nokia 7600 - Pocket-lint

Nokia's design department has gone into overdrive with this one, make sure you like its looks before parting with your cash

Good Nokia OS and interface; 3G

Design is acquired taste; launch price

If you are looking for something different to your average phone this design certainly gives the user a streak of individuality. As for the 3G functionality, it's not certain what this phone will actually support as 3 has shunned it so far. As with all...

Nokia - 7600

Some companies will do anything to get noticed and Nokia is well known for thinking outside the box when it comes to mobile phone design. The company can do the standard 'candy bar' thing par excellence, ...

If you are looking for a 3G phone and don't need video calling the Nokia 7600 is a world away from some of its larger and rather unwieldy competitors in terms of pocketability and engaging looks. But beware the lack of memory expansion, and only...

Nokia 7600 or a new appearance of the old phone

The phone looks unusual; almost square, shaped a little like a water drop. The sides are made a bit oval, which results in great ergonomics and it fits in your hand nicely.

Since this phone is the almost identical to the Nokia 6650, except in a different case, we'll just repeat the impressions from 6650. It's a typical Nokia phone, nothing extraordinary is featured in this model.

Nokia 7600

Stylish phone users beware, the Nokia 7600 is bound to attract your attention from just one look. The totally re-designed look of the 7600 totally isolates the phone from other handsets on the market, and gives it a new edgy look. Don't just judge a...

Nokia 7600

The new Nokia 7600 doesn't look much like a traditional handset on the outside, and doesn't really act like a traditional handset on the inside either.

Snapshot: Nokia 7600

Think Nokia has exhausted its crazy design ideas? Think again. While the 7600 might look wierd, didn't your mother teach you to never judge a book by its cover?

OK

Overall I think this phone would be suited to certain people, not everyone wants to be the centre of attention when they pull their mobile phone out and explaining to everyone what model you have can get tiring.

I like that this phone looks different and I am not just one of the many thousands of people with a flip phone or standard rectangular shaped phone

The Nokia 7600 is a pretty odd shape to try and get in to your pocket or small hand bag. The shape and layout can also make it tricky for others to use your phone, but I guess it's meant to be a personal device so that shouldn't matter so much.
