Nokia 7500 Prism

With multiple facets like this the 7500 Prism certainly shouts "look at me!" But is it a case of styling over substance?

Good battery life and neatly styled screen complement the 7500's ease of use

The gloss-and-matt styling and the lightweight plastic shell look a little cheap

Nokia 7500 Prism

Nokia 7500 is not only the frontman of innovative designing solutions. Nokia 7500 specifications do not yield its appearance. Dihedral display of Nokia 7500 is one of the best in its class, has a resolution of 240×320 (2 inches diagonal, 31×41 mm) and...

Nokia - 7500 Prism

Nokia has come up with some quirky mobile phone designs in the past, often involving hardware fancifulness like twisting or swivelling. The 7500 Prism (and its cousin the 7900 Prism) displays a new take on the ...

Hardly brimming with features, you are likely to choose this mobile if the diamond-cut look appeals. But don't be seduced by its look in photos. Go into a store and check out how it feels to you before buying.

A Good Looking Phone : Nokia 7500 Prism

It sometimes surprises me how quickly mobile phones have come to be regarded as a fashion accessory rather than a useful tool.

According to my Concise Oxford Dictionary, one of the definitions of "prism" relates to "triangular, with refracting surfaces at acute angles with each other". The reason for this excursion into the realms of lexicography is a new mobile phone from...

Nokia 7500 Prism

The key aspect in the Prism's profile – the handset's casing is actually composed of tiny prisms that form its shape. On the face of it, the shell seems to be quite angular, and its sharp lines make it look somewhat awkward to use. But that's only what...

The Bluetooth implementation is, as always though, nothing to complain about, on top of that the Prism’s Bluetooth user interface is no different from the Nokia 6300. We encountered no issues with handling this type of connections. The stereo-headset...

Nokia 7500 Prism

Being style conscious is paramount these days. If you can dress fashionably, why not have accessories that complement your style? And what better accessory to complement your Guccis and Pradas than your mobile phone?

On the whole, I loved the phone. At Rs. 9,400 it’s definitely worth it. Once you get used to the keys and joystick, which shouldn't take more than a few tries, I’m sure you’ll like it too. It’ll work well whether you're fashion-conscious or not.

Nokia 7500 Prism review: Daring difference

It's been a long time since we last held such an unusual phone in our hands. Nokia 7500 Prism is so much different from all other mobile devices in terms of design. With its dazzling geometric patterns and distinctive triangular keys, the Prism is one...

One of a kind design ; Typical s40 quick interface ; More than decent music performance with good equalizers ; Richer than usual preloaded content ; Keypad is comfortable, despite its unusual look ; Exchangeable accents to freshen up the phone's looks

Mediocre camera ; No hot-swap capability for the memory card ; The display lacks brightness ; Inadequate battery life ; Price tag too high for the offered functionality ; Joystick needs time getting used to ; Fingerprint magnet

Nokia 7500 has been in the limelight since the very day it appeared on the Chinese website of the Finnish company. With the angular design and a price tag befitting far greater functionality, there is no doubt that this is a love-it-or-hate-it phone. A...
