Nokia 3250 mobile phone

Music mobiles will apparently soon kill off every MP3 player except the iPod. I can certainly see how that would be the case – you obviously love gadgets reading this site, but given the choice wouldn't you rather just take one item down the pub with you?

Lots of memory; nice styling; good sound quality

Music software isn’t the best; quite a bulky handset

A good music mobile, but the music operating system isn’t up to the quality of Sony Ericsson’s Walkman offerings.

Nokia 3250

The 3250 is definitely innovative, but is it easy to use?

Nokia 3250 review

It twists and turns, and it's finished in piano black. But has Nokia's MP3 smartphone got what it takes to rival Sony Ericsson's rocking Walkman models?

Put this up against the W800i and it’s a tough call: if you want to show off, pick the 3250 for its twisty-turny powers. Is size your priority? Plump for the tried-and-tested Sony Ericsson.

Looks great. Easy twist actions. Excellent smartphone features

Cumbersome joystick. Bit of a porker

Expert Review

As a media player and camera, the 3250 is a pretty good device, but its phone functionality leaves a little to be desired thanks to an awkward and slightly sluggish interface.

MP3 functionality is well implemented, 512MB card included

Irritating thumbstick, Quite slow

Nokia 3250 review: Rubik's phone

Nokia's portfolio features another new music phone and that's the Nokia 3250. The device features a 2 megapixel camera, a built-in radio, the latest Symbian OS 9.1; on the top of it, it uses the tiniest memory cards in the world and comes with a wide...
