MWg - Atom V

MWg's Atom V packs in a lot of features. It is a Windows Mobile 6 Professional device complete with 2.8-inch touch screen and GPS antenna. It is quad-band GSM and it'll manage HSDPA connections at speeds ...

The MWG Atom V certainly packs in the features, and rarities like geo-tagging and the torch could be a draw. However the device is large and relatively heavy.

The Atom V has an eye-catching design, a good GPS application and a fast processor.

The Atom V has an eye-catching design, a good GPS application and a fast processor.

The Atom V won't suit all pockets or hands.

The MWG Atom V has plenty going on, despite its long and thin design. The GPS tracker is a neat utility for anyone who wants to monitor their progress whether it be on the cycle to work or a weekend ramble. Overall, this smartphone has real appeal

The Atom V is designed to be fun, engaging and features a full range of connectivity options from HSDPA 3.5G to WiFi. Running on Microsoft Windows Mobile 6, and a 520 Mhz processor will keep you entertained, engaged and connected any time of the day

It is a decent device with many connectivity features. There is WLAN, 3G, HSDPA, GPRS and Quadband voice connectivity. The only problem is making it easy for the user to input data into the device. I say this because the screen has all these tiny icons...

Less than a year used MWG Atom V. hangs many time, automatic off function inbuilt even during call is running, Finally permanently hang (search for RF signal). Repair cost at service center is 40SGD. Do not go for this. Unprofessional service center.

Not at all good, Suggest everyone not to buy this phone

I have been a user of O2/MWg XDA and smartphone since 2005 and have come to the conclusions that the product quality, particularly the service from MWg is not acceptable. Below is my real story which I have told MWg that I would share with all of you.

MWg Atom V

Pretty solid navigation pocket pc, reception is good, no frills with all the programs you actually need, unlike other over priced phones with unnecessary applications.

GPS, slick flat screen, quick menu, expandable memory

longer than usual phones, wish it had a bundle for a car kit cradle
