Motorola MOTO W233 Renew (T-Mobile)

The first U.S. cell phone made from recycled plastic, T-Mobile's green MOTO W233 Renew does voice well—but not much else.

Case is made of recycled materials. Inexpensive. Excellent voice quality.

Dim screen. No Bluetooth or voice dialing. Poor media capabilities. No camera.

Motorola Renew W233 (T-Mobile) review: Motorola Renew W233 (T-Mobile)

The Motorola Renew W233 offers satisfying call quality in a simple, eco-friendly design.

The Motorola Renew W233 has a low-resolution display and it offers few features. Also, it lacks a side-mounted volume rocker.

The Motorola Renew W233 is more than just a green device; it's also a decent phone.

The phone may be cutting edge since it’s made from water bottles but it feels dated. It lacks many features. No Bluetooth, no GPS, no video player, no camera, no Wi-Fi. It feels old. But not everyone needs a phone packed with features. If you want a...

Motorola W233 Renew

Motorola claims that the Motorola W233 Renew is an environmentally friendly mobile phone. Is it really, or is it an exercise in greenwashing?

Very good phone

I am very pleased with this phone. Sound is clear, more than enough features. It comes with North American and Europe power supply and it can be charged directly from a mini USB cable (no need for an expensive travel charger). If you plan to use it for...

Good simple phone

This is a fine, simple phone, unlocked as advertised, and works immediately with my AT&T prepay card. The phone had a few of someone else's numbers on it when I first started it, but easily deleted. If you need a cheap phone, don't want a camera,...

Best deal for the $$

Works well, the MP3 player works well. Design is solid and constructive. Downsides: LCD is a little dim, doesn't have Bluetooth. Speaker-phone works well too with the Crystal Clear technology (whatever its called- gets rid of background noise when...
