Motorola SLVR L7 mobile phone - Pocket-lint

This phone will garner lots of wows when you take it out of your pocket. But if you do buy it, just don't let people know that the insides are fairly

Design, looks

Lacklustre features offering, no iTunes software in UK

We are flummoxed as to why Motorola has opted to leave the iTunes software out for UK users. Aside from the design it is really the only other thing this phone possibly had going for it.

Motorola SLVR L7 review

Are good looks enough in a fast-moving digital world?

Super-thin design ; Clear LCD display ; Good call quality ; Web access

Poor camera resolution ; No headphones socket ; Limited internal memory

A good-looking phone that would have broken new ground in 2004, but will fade away in 2006

Motorola - SLVR L7 RED

Motorola's range of slimline handsets isn't shy about appearing in various bright colours, so seeing one that is blood red probably won't be much of a surprise. But Motorola has done A Good Thing with the ...

I really want to like the SLVR L7 RED and I really want you to like it too, because the cause it supports could do with as much help as it can get. So I am not going to bemoan its average features too much while summing up. Instead I'm going to ask...

Motorola SLVR L7 Review

An uber slim phone for the celebrity market and also popular with the Chav community. Not quite what Motorola had in mind with the SLVR L7 but its wafer thin design does nothing to mask the poor iTunes player and limited battery life, shame really.

Motorola SLVR L7

Just at the last moment the company of Motorola renamed its fashion line phones and assigned an L index to them (see details on this point in the review of L2/L6). For now, the top model is the L7 aka SLVR (coming from "sliver"). The device is...

The keys are backlit in a bright blue, which is stylish and functional at the same time. All the characters are easy to read in various conditions. The Russian version of the device allows two levels of characters on each button (Cyrillic and Latin)

Motorola SLVR L7 Phone

The Motorola SLVR L7 is a very slim & desirable mobile phone that comes complete with some very attractive features. The SLVR L7 pays a slight resemblance to the ROKR E1 but the ROKR E1 has very music orientated features & the SLVR L7 focuses on the...

Motorola SLVR L7

The current trend when it comes to mobile phones is an extremely thin form factor. Motorola kicked things off with the launch of the famous <a href="h...

Slim form factor, Well built, Memory card slot, MP3 Player, Included Bluetooth headset

Menu system, Keypad design, Heavy, Paltry VGA camera, no iTunes support in Australia, Average battery life

The SLVR L7 is an admirable effort by Motorola to provide the same wow factor of the RAZR in a candybar format. A better quality camera and a long awaited update to the user interface and Motorola could well be onto something very special here.

Motorola Slvr L7

There's a lot to like about Motorola's Slvr L7, the company's latest cell-phone/iPod hybrid. It's pretty, sleek, and fairly easy to use for making and receiving calls; and its integration of iPod features is a great extra. Unfortunately, it doesn't...

Slim cell phone feels sturdy to hold Integrates iPod features

Syncing music is a laborious process Adjusting the volume is difficult

Aside from those drawbacks, it is nice to be able to play music and make phone calls with the Slvr L7. And as a phone, the Slvr L7 is easy to use and easy to carry. Still, if I wanted an iPod I'd buy one; and if I wanted a phone, I would choose a...

Motorola SLVR L7

Motorola's latest thin phone combines the RAZR's good looks with iTunes, but sports last year's specs.

Thinnest phone that you can buy iTunes built in • 512MB memory card included • Loud, crisp speaker

Slow music transfers over USB 1.1 100-song limit • Mediocre stereo earphones • No EDGE or UMTS support
